I injured my meniscus in june last year. I was doing squats pretty regurarly and felt a pain in my knee but i still kept squatting a few times after hoping it would get better but it only got worse so i stopped doing legs at the gym completely. It hurt a lot a first but It gradually and slowly got better. In november i went to a doctor and got an mri and he concluded that I had a small meniscus tear and that I don't need surgery and recommended PT and PRP shots. At this point most of the pain was gone but not completely but i went to a party and danced a little too hard and it started to hurt again even when i was walking. I started PT and the pain got reduced again. I then got the prp shot about a month ago and it hurt at first but then it got back to normal. My doctor failed to mention that i should stop doing PT 2 weeks post prp so i did it 5 days after it. Now i feel pain ocasionally and my knee sometimes gets tired especiallt after doing PT exercises or walking too much. I heard that prp is supposed to take time to heal and especially knee injuries but still I am afraid i won't fully heal or that I made it worse.

2025.01.24 12:59 Due-Entrepreneur-842 Day 32 it’s Friday strong urges
I’m currently on day 32 no weed after being a daily user for years and years and on day 25 no nicotine. Having really strong urges today to smoke. It feels like it’s all been really easy so far but today is like I’m back to square one and thinking about it constantly. Normally I am really busy on weekends either working or playing football but this weekend I have neither and have no plans at all. I have also had some great news about my career this week and I’m on track to have an amazing year. I think the two combined mean I want the weed as a reward for my career going well and also having a weekend where I have no plans at all so my addict brain is telling me it’s the perfect weekend to just smoke up, chill and do nothing. I’m going to fight the urge though as it’s this sort of scenario that has ruined quit attempts before. I get complacent and think it’s just a one off and then I end up straight back to being addicted again. Weed started making me really depressed last year and I’ve felt like a different person since quitting so will stay strong and keep looking at the bigger picture. Thanks to everyone in the sub it really helps reading your stories and good luck to everyone on the journey to freedom!
