Hi guys, I hope you’re well. I’m an international student, I applied to nine T14 schools for the LLM program and have heard back from three so far with acceptances, thankfully.
I got into Cornell, Northwestern and Georgetown. Though I'm still waiting on the rest for my final decision, I had two main queries for my current scenario:
A) If you had to choose between Cornell and Northwestern, what would you pick? I am leaning towards Northwestern due to its good rankings and excellent location, is it worth considering Cornell solely for the Ivy label?
B) I know everyone waxes lyrical about the terrible job prospects of LLM students, but do those job prospects get better if you’re not wedded to the idea of BigLaw or even traditional law firms/corporate law at all? I worked in my home country for nearly 2 years and have a portfolio CV with corporate experience and research and policy work experience, notably with international donor organisations. I’m very inclined towards non-traditional/legal-adjacent careers, like a policy analyst, consultancy, research associate at a think-tank, and roles at donor orgs. I find that suits my skill-set and temperament better than a law firm. Are these kind of jobs more possible with an LLM? And tied to QA - pls recommend a school based on these goals.
Important note: I’m currently in the process for a green card already, if that comes in time work sponsorship wouldn’t be an issue for an employer.

hey guys I'm a filmmaker who recently bought a Blackmagic pocket 6k pro
I shoot mostly feature films (2 hour videos) in 5:1 or 8:1 BRAW 6k. I edit and color grade in DR with film emulation (dehancer and NR). I don't really use fusion or fancy effects. I don't care about how long it takes to render I just want a smooth timeline.
in my company we already have two older Macs which cannot handle this type of work but I intended to keep to the apple ecosystem since it's been suiting us fine.
- first I considered the Mac Studio M2 Max 12/30 with 32GB RAM and 512GB SSD - only Mac Studio affordable option in my region, but still would need to buy monitor and audio system. more importantly, I fear that both 32GB of RAM and 512 SSD might not be enough. I always edit stuff on external SSDs but I think such low SSD diminishes how much this machine lasts.
- then I considered the Macbook 16" M3 Max CPU 16/40 48GB RAM SSD 1TB - more expensive than the first but considering the price of monitor and audio system (which I wouldn't immediately buy in this option) the end price ends up being just a little more than the Mac Studio M2 Max. The I think this might be the best option but I'm still worried that 48GB RAM wouldn't still be enough for my tasks. A little variance of this product would be a Macbook M3 Max CPU 14/30 36GB RAM 1TB SSD -- which would be the cheapest option of all.
- another option would be the new Mac mini M4 Pro 12/16 64GB RAM 1TB SSD - "cheap" option but the gain in RAM and SSD compared to the others comes with a downgrade in CPU and GPU cores. Just as the Mac Studio, I would also need to buy monitor and audio system.

So I'm a 15 y/o student and I wanna pursue digital art but i can't seem to figure out which application is better for android. Personally I Find sketchbook better since ibis has numerous locked stuff or stuff which can only be accessed if u have premium But on the other hand not many have used sketchbook so there are veryyyy less tutorials on how to use it and stuff and whenever this question is asked everyone quickly says ibis even tho they have never even tried sketchbook So before I really dive into this path I would appreciate ya'lls help in choosing between em. Last summer, one of my gf and mine’s biggest fights was because of events that went as followed.
In passing I had asked her who had a better body, me or her ex? My physique always has been something I’ve been gifted with but at this time I was just coming off a bulk and I needed to lose some lbs.
Anyways, I asked her and I think, if I’m not mistaken, she just didn’t answer, (this was in person btw). So to break the awkwardness I said “that’s fucked” just in a joking type of way. She then smirked or something of the sort. Now obviously by this I am pretty hurt and she had said either right after, or at some point consequently, “well don’t ask questions you don’t want the answer to”. I know there will be a lot to argue on her side and for those who say, she’s right, I shouldn’t-I haven’t asked any questions since of that nature since.
However I just feel, in my personal belief, it would just be kind of cordial to say automatically that I did have a better body, just in a complementary way. Like what type of benefit would she have from saying her ex has a better body than me? It’s so confusing and out of everything that affects my retroactive jealousy I do think that one fucks with me hardcore.
I’m sure the vast amount of people will say I’m in the wrong and I’m fine with that, I just need closure.

Fully aware this looks insane but I kind of like this better than eating oatmeal? It’s hard for me to finish my meals sometimes but drinking things is so much easier for me.
I soaked rolled oats in oat milk overnight, added cinnamon, vanilla, honey. This morning I then added a shot of espresso and a splash of coffee creamer. Now I get to eat my oats and have my coffee all together. This is exciting to me hahahahaha
How do we feel about this? I wouldn’t take offense if this isn’t your vibe.
