Hi everyone. I had my daughter in 2022 and was first diagnosed with a short cervix at my anatomy scan measuring around 2 cm. It stayed stable at 2 cm on vaginal progesterone, until i went into preterm labor at 27 weeks where it was 1.3 cm and 2 cm dilated. After hospital bed rest and meds to stop labor, she stayed put until 37 weeks!! I'm now 20 weeks pregnant with number 2, and given that I made it to term, my MFM didn't want to do a preventative cerclage. I just had my anatomy scan at 19+6, and my cervix was 3.7 to 3.9cm! I'm going every 2 weeks until 24 weeks to measure. I'm afraid to be too excited yet because I don't want it to shorten more. Anyone have success with second pregnancy going better than first??

Back story: I’ve had a Kamado Joe jr for about 4-5 years, mainly used for smoking. I feel I do a good job at smoking food and am happy with what I make. I’m tempted with an offset as I like the idea of tending to a fire and think it could be a nice excuse to just relax in the garden.
Probably like many of you I spend a lot of time watching bbq videos on YouTube. Many of them coming from America. They mainly use their traditional style offset smokers and say they produce the best quality. I’m wondering do people in the UK use offset style BBQ’s and are they still usable in the UK? Will I really be able to taste the difference? I’ve never actually had any bbq smoked on an offset so have no comparison…follow up question, Any spots in the uk that serves food smoked from an offset like the American bbq restaurants?

2025.01.24 19:40 Toad1K_ Legacy crosshair (cl_crosshairstyle 5) doesn’t show when spectating.
Given Valve’s recent updates to crosshairs when spectating, and how it shows if someone is using crosshair recoil, I can’t help but notice that if someone is using crosshairstyle 5, you won’t see their crosshair expanding if you’re spectating them. This could just be something that wasn’t ever fixed because in GO, “legacy crosshair” wasn’t an option - you could only use it by typing a console command.

One thing I never really understood is how Nicole got that notification on her phone that Maddie liked a photo, especially since Maddie's phone was smashed and i'm pretty sure no one else had access to her account. Also, I don't get how Mr.Anderson and Claire managed to switch Maddie's phone with another, put it back in her backpack with out Maddie noticing, and convince her that its her phone. And also, they would have had to do the whole switcheroo thing before Maddie's last class but after she talked outside with Xavier, would they not? Personally, i'd know immediately if "my phone" wasn't mine. The whole phone situation Is extremely confusing to me does anyone actually understand how that went down? And could you explain it to me?

I'm soon approaching 50, and as a gift to myself I'm thinking about the blue-faced Pepsi GMT II. Incredible watch, looks amazing and the white gold is a touch understated... the price? ouch. $40k
so I'm thinking, for that kind of scratch I can buy 2 (maybe 3) also-fantastic watches in the $15-$20k range, which means more choice and a bigger collection.
it also means I might save $$$ if I convince myself to NOT go whole hog for my 50th.
So, Reddit, what do you think? Better to buy 1 or get 2?
