I keep seeing your profile picture appear in Facebook messenger. I said I wouldn't block you but you did everywhere else. I understand why you did - as its painful for me to keep seeing you knowing just how much I gave up.
I wanted to come clean. I fell victim to my brain, my friends telling me things and my mother also playing tricks on me. I know that comes as no surprise to you.
I've been in weekly therapy since we broke up and its shown me many things. One of which is that I have opted out of life cause its easier, bowing to others to not rock the ship and denying what I want. The truth is I wanted you. I want you.
I want to be together, I want us to be living in that city together, I want to be building a life together. I was imagining us getting married recently. Therapy has shown me just how much I denied my own feelings at the cost of us, at the cost of you.
Its almost been a full year since we broke up and my feelings, desire and love for you have never gone away. I still think about you daily.
I want oh so badly to talk to you, tell you how I feel - what I want and what I am so sorry for.
I truly miss you. And I am so sorry.

Hi, I played back in the Base set 1 era, loooooong ago.
My son started playing about a month ago, he has 3 kitchen table casual decks.
We are thinking about going up to Pokemon League tmw morning at our LGS
Can someone help me discuss understand some of the idea of deck building?
For example, as a magic player I was expecting to see about 20 energy in a 60 card pokemon deck, but I see many top tier decks are only running about 11 energy with a small number of energy search cards. Is this normal?

Playing in the consecutive win tournament with a charizard deck. Got down to maybe 4-5 cards left in my deck without a single charmeleon. Like 8 cards in my hand both oaks used and no luck. Moltres EX spamming inferno dance with a turn 1 charmander on the bench with 8 energy. Opponent defeats my moltres so charmanders up and I draw my other moltres. Could maybe salvage the battle (probably not) but figure I’ll just give him the easy win. Buddy concedes up 2/0.

I’m at a V100 and I’m miserable mostly due to the outrageous billing practices at my firm.
Our rates are so high and our clients are so cheap that everyone (juniors through junior partners) is pressured to cut their own time. If a bill is too high, people are chewed out and shamed and called “inefficient.” The label “inefficient” at my firm carries a worse stigma than being incompetent. It’s absolutely insane. So the logical result is that everyone, but especially juniors who are just learning the ropes, is cutting their own hours like crazy. I cut about 2-3 hours per day on average.
As a result, I can’t make weekday plans, can’t go to the gym, can’t have a life, but also can’t say no to work because on paper, I’m “only” billing 9 hours. Additionally, juniors are not allowed to bill for attending meetings with 2+ attorneys, which takes up a lot of time. Here’s my favorite: not allowed to bill for reading emails if we are not going to respond to the email. So an associate can be on 10+ transactions, will be expected to know what’s going on in each of them at any given time (which can only be done by reading correspondence), but can’t bill unless there is an action item attached to reading the email. I spend HOURS per day reading emails…how is this functional?!?!
To make matters worse, partners give 0 guidance and routinely throw juniors to the wolves to figure out assignments. And what’s the result? More wheel-spinning and more time-cutting.
This firm is totally dysfunctional and I’d like to lateral to a v30 with the hope that I will work with bigger clients who are less fee sensitive. Thoughts?

Can we really think that the players will be able to walk out if the majority voted to leave? I mean other than the soldiers word for it is there a guarantee? Can't that be just to mess with players heads? Making the players think that they actually have a choice.
The VIPs really look forward to this and spends a lot of money. IMO even the majority voted to leave, the won't just let them. They would make up something to make them stay somehow.

I am currently working on a project of determining which deep reinforcement learning algorithm is best suited for a complicated environment such as no-limit texas holdem poker. I am using Tianshou to make the agents and a PettingZoo environment. I've finished with this part of the project and now I must determine which agent is the best. I've made each agent play against each other over 30k games and have gathered a lot of data.
At first I thought the player that won the most chips should be the winner, but that's not really fair since one player has won a lot of chips against one of the weakest players, and lost against all of the others, but that still makes him the winner with the most chips won. Then I considered ELO rating, but that doesn't work too since it's not important if the player won if they won little money.
The combination of the 2 cases that's mostly used in other games where in this case would be chips_won_by_A / (chips_won_by_A + chips_won_by_B) also doesn't work since it's a zero sum game environment and chips_won_by_A = -chips_won_by_B and we get division with zero. Do you have any other solution for this kind of problem? I thought that maybe it will be a good idea to use the percentage of the chips won from the amount of chips that they could've won? Any help is welcome!
