I did not notice any grey when I bought him three days ago. any ideas on what to do? I had my water levels tested right before purchasing him, nitrates were slightly high but not in the danger zone. Thanks!

2025.01.24 17:31 Macguyver76 Coming back after 15 years, looking for a gut check on a new system.
Hey everyone, I just started a new position and am coming back to SW after 15 years of being away from it (not by choice either). Used Inventor a little bit but most of that time I was stuck using NX. Anyway, have the opportunity to start fresh with SW and am super excited about it.
However I was given an XPS with Intel UHD and Arc A370M GPUs and neither is fairing well. Just highlighting a plane to start a sketch I'm watching it draw the border for 3-4 seconds and small assemblies with less than 10 simple parts are downright painful. I've asked for a better system and looks like we are headed towards an Precision 3591 with an RTX 2000 ADA Gen, 8 GB GDDR6. By everything I've read here and looking at the SW certified cards this should be very capable of doing assemblies with up to 200 parts or so without an issue. Otherwise looks like I'll have a Ultra 9 Processor with 32GB of DDR5 RAM. I'm thinking I'm good with this setup but kind of wanted to get some confirmation from some of the experts here to make sure before its to late to change it. Thanks!

I’m using Corel draw on a Mac for the first time, and I can’t figure out how to move the color palette from the right side of the screen. I’m currently using the 15 day trial version. This might be my problem, since it does have limited functionality. I thought I’d go ahead and ask though in case I’m missing something. Are there any Mac users on here that can help? Thanks.

My lucid dreams always start from me being aware that I'm asleep in my bed and starting to feel the bodily sensations that people call vibrational state or whatever u might call it, then i try to just get up and always end up in lucid dreams that are so undivided that's it almost like I'm imaging dreams whilst awake or sometimes it's just me walking around my dimly lit house with an uneasy feeling some of the dreams feel very phisical but only my body feels real. Is this a normal lucid dream? I miss the old fun imaginative dreams i used to have. How do i make my dreams more vivid

I am 46 years old and have not lived at home for over two decades. This morning I ignored an unknown number, and in about 5 minutes later my mom called me who's in her seventies and lives in a different city, and she said somebody called her and asked for me by name but said it rude and forceful so she hung up on them.
The number who called her and the number who called me are different numbers, but when I tried calling them both back they both had the exact same dreamy sounding on-hold music playing nobody ever spoke, until an automated message just said goodbye.
I am unnerved because they asked for me by name and I'm not sure how they would get my mom's number since I haven't lived with her for 30 years, and why would they call her.
Seems like a scam, anybody get phone calls like this?
I have never been in trouble with the law have never had any unpaid debts etc.

My girlfriend and I are both 23, and she has an illness that significantly shortens her lifespan, making her essentially middle-aged. She may also have BPD. We’ve been together for about 1.5 years, but her repeated emotional betrayals and our communication struggles have led me to question the relationship.
In January 2024, I caught her flirting with an old situationship. I told her to block him, but it continued until May, when I reached out to him directly to stop it. She was upset and embarrassed, but I convinced myself their history was the reason for her behavior and that a new person wouldn’t cause the same issue.
In August, during a family vacation, I found messages where she told a customer at her job (a married man with kids) she’d rather be on the beach with him than with me. I lost my temper, and the situation spiraled into her making me feel like I was at fault for invading her privacy. Despite trying to move forward, this betrayal destroyed my ability to trust her.
Two weeks ago, after I didn’t visit her following a night out with a friend, she sent me a tirade of insults, calling me an asshole, a pussy, and worse. The next morning, I ended the relationship, overwhelmed by everything I’ve been suppressing. Only then did she block the men she had been emotionally cheating with and begged me to reconcile, saying she’d do anything to fix things.
She argues that I’m unfair for holding her accountable since she never physically cheated and insists I’m being too harsh because she hasn’t repeated the behavior in 5 months. I’ve suggested therapy for her (I attend therapy myself while in law school), but she refuses, citing her busy schedule despite only working part-time. She’s asked me to find ways to fix this that don’t involve breaking up, but I don’t see any.
The foundation of our relationship is broken, and while I feel for her situation, I don’t believe I can trust her or move forward in a healthy way. AIO by walking away despite her condition and devotion?

Some TV shows have such incredible soundtracks that you find new bands you have never heard of thanks to the people that pick songs to go in shows.
The greatest soundtrack of all time is House MD. I had Shazam on standby while watching every episode as so many great songs played in it.
Strike has had some good picks too.
I like EDM too and the "techno" tracks picked for Series 4 Episode 2 where Cormorant goes undercover in an anonymous mask at an illegal rave were interesting.
There are a few tracks mixed back to back by the DJ. II could Shazam the first track, it was by Paperclip People - Throw (RTM Remix) but the tune that follows, that drops just after the 29 minute mark, and that you can hear for about 40 seconds before the scene moves on. No clue.
Has anybody got ANY idea of what it is or how I can find out?
I've been stealing tracks from TV shows for years so I know most of the websites that cover this sort of thing. Tunefind being usually quite good. Shazam being the obvious go-to method. I tried several times, playing it really loud on my decent hi-fi set up as well, but it never found a match.
