In November I started dating a girl from Tinder (we are both around 30yo). After some "introductory dates" we started immediately a really intense phase, at least for me (we met almost everyday, films, cuddles etc etc). Suddenly, after a week of cold-contact from her (she said she was sick, actually it was a reflection time) she wrote me that she didn't feel like continuing because IN ONE YEAR I should left the country and she is in hurry to create a family. I answered that it was a bit premature thinking about that now and, in any case, nothing imposes us to separate (we have the opportunity to follow each other and we are both foreigners in the country where we live now). She made her decision anyway, adding that I'm a great person and she passed really good moments with me.
To my eyes, that doesn't make any sense. I suspect that she actually resumed contact with her ex, who in turn tried to contact her some weeks ago. I kept my guard down because she told me that he treated her like shit, so I didn't think that he had some chances. But her ex's return puts all the pieces of the non-sense puzzle together.
Now I don't know what to think. I feel like shit even if the story was so short. Normally I am a very rational person and I'm not used to suffer such an emotional swirl. I feel like a teenager but the feeling I have for her are drammaticaIly true. I am very disappointed and I feel betrayed. Deep inside, I hope that she will change her mind and she will come back to me. Rationally, I well know that it's over.
What do you think about that? Is this normal feeling like that? Is it stupid hoping for her return?

I have a question for all of you who are far more experienced with couponing than I am. I’m a long time Kroger shopper, short time couponer. I’ve been taking advantage of their cash back offers lately.
My issue is that I don’t think I was given the cash back last week. It’s been a full seven days. There is no where on any of my receipts, even the ones that I know I got cash back from, that shows it reflected.
Is there anywhere I can see previously claimed offers?
Kroger customer service was no help. They told me to look in the app and I had to tell them that cash back can’t e even be accessed in the app.

2025.01.24 18:19 lossione Open table/reservation alternatives?
I work with a restaurant in a small town, they don't get enough traffic to warrant the monthly fee for something like opentable or resy. They do a lot of "events" that do quite well. Currently we just make reservations over the phone, but that's really not ideal and I imagine we are missing out on some reservations. We have a valentines dinner we are offering, and would like a simple way for people to book (and possibly pay, but we could do without this) online. I've looked at some ticketing options that charge a small fee per ticket, this would work but none of the ones I looked at offer an option to attach a time slot to a ticket, as they are more catered to concerts etc.
Any ideas?

2025.01.24 18:19 campcalling Need Help - Baby wakes up every 2-3 hours all night.
Baby boy has been doing this since he was 12 or so weeks old. He’s 17 weeks now. During the day he eats 3-5 ounces every 3 hours or so. He’s a good sleeper, swaddled in the snoo and goes down without too much trouble.
He eats a full feed every time he wakes in the night. Does he need to eat more during the day? How to achieve that if he stops at 3-5 ounces per feed?
Bedtime routine is pretty straightforward, bath at 6:45, starts eating around 7, finishes around 7:30 and my wife puts him to bed half asleep.
We’ve always done the eat, play, sleep routine but lately my wife has tried feeding him again before going to sleep every nap. I’m afraid this isn’t helping but she’s convinced it’s the only way to feed him more during the day. Any thoughts on that?
Would you start sleep training even though he’s waking up so much to eat? With our daughter we waited until she was only waking up once, she was 5 months old.
Feeling a little lost this time around, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

48 and peri. I have a mirena coil and use topical oestrogel. Originally I got the coil fitted to fix crime scene periods. This has worked to a degree but I still get a lot of thinning and my hair has thinned and my hairline receeded massively over the 2 years that I had Mirena. I am going to get it removed. The doc is suggesting that I switch to Utrogestan to replaced progesterone.
I have a few Qs of this lovely group
A) did anyone else experience hair thinning / receding with Mirena? B) did this improve after removal C) any experience with hair on Utrogestan - good or bad ?

 | Yeah I said it. I started an alt account with the singular goal of level 90 the traveler and c6 them in every element. All the while being ftp and saving every single primo. The reward? A random c6 r5 5 star. I’ve already started 2.5 weeks ago so some of you are seeing my current progress. I play the story, do exploration, take part in events, all to save up primos. Every talent, exp, and weapon materials all go towards traveler and traveler only. The only time I’ll break this rule is if there’s content traveler cannot achieve by herself…then and only then will I build a character just enough to clear said content. As u can see I have not pulled for Noelle either so dodge is my best friend. I will only use characters we are offered for free and the early free characters we get for reaching said levels. I don’t know who I will select for the Liyue free 4 star so I’ll let you all decide. Feel free to participate in my journey to build the best traveler. Im open to set recommendations, weapon recommendations for each element of traveler. Last week, the NVMe SSD in the Mini-PC that's been running the Proxmox VM of HAOS for the past two+ years had a catastrophic failure. Apparently, it had been failing for a while, but my SMART monitoring hadn't caught it (gotta look into that). The nature of the failure seems to have somehow corrupted backups to that extent that, after installing a new SSD, new Proxmox instance and new HAOS VM, restoration didn't work, so I've had to rebuild everything from scratch. Bright side is that it's a chance to reconsider how some stuff was set up, and it led to a better understanding of the HA configuration.yaml setup.
I suppose part of the failure was my fault, as I had a rogue MQTT add-on that was doing massive amounts of writing to the database (since fixed), but it probably seriously shortened the life of the SSD.
