2025.01.24 18:42 Rich-Knowledge-9936 What to do with Magik when the teamfight is neutral
So i have been playing Magik a lot lately, and she is so much fun! But after i learned the combos i have found myself struggling with positioning. People recomend that you flank with her, but often i find that option laughable. You can ideally target combo a strategist and kill them quickly, but since the shift melee, dash, melee animation cancel can barely kill a 250 hp target and is very easy to miss, i often find myself unable to finish them off. You miss slightly and it throws of the combo completely, and even if you don't miss, it can sometimes randomly cancel, or the other support simply just outheal it. Realistically To kill a cloak and dagger in the backlines, you have to hit a pretty hard and inconsistent combo and hope that their fellow support is oblivious, because if they're not, You will simply get outhealed, and as a result of that, you will die, always. I try to play more passively, and combo when i see an opportunity for it, when i don't risk certain death for trying to attempt it. With practice range, i've definitively gotten better at the "1 shot combo", and hitting the godforsaken dashes, but dear lord is there a difference trying to hit a player in game, compared to moving bots.
So the question is, what do you do in midfight? When both teams are fighting in the neutral. When targeting their supports in a tightly grouped up team is not an option. If you don't want to embark on a suicide mission at the chance on killing their support in the backline, what do you do? (dash melee cancel melee shoot blade is rarely enough) Brawling and frontlining with certain tanks is pretty viable, but i feel like i'm missing something. She is good against shields, and you can do much with her. But i feel like i'm never getting enough kills. With most characters, i can usually atleast get a 35 kill game with, but with magik, i've yet to break thirty.
I've heard from other magik players that she isn't exactly a "high kill count" character, but if you guys have any general tips, or gameplay strategies, please share them, because playing her for me now feels like playing a suboptimal flanker or a worse brawling tank.
(Her ult is really good though, that i can get teamwipes with all day))
(Also i know the difference on when to use demon spawn or spin portal in case you wonder)
(Yes i've watched some guides on her, but the option to go for support is often not an option because the team is so close to each other.)
(The dash is my mortal enemy lmao, it's so inconsistent, and spending hours in practice range doesn't seem to make it THAT much easier)

Is this a Pixel issue or just an Android issue? My text messages do not pop up on the screen to give me a chance to see or hear them. They show up if I open the Messages app and will be read if I press the Read Aloud button. But if I don't have that app open I won't know there are any new messages. I usually use Android Auto with the maps and music on a split screen. With the last, and only, iPhone I had, the messages would pop up on the screen and I could tap them to hear thembin the same car. I can't be changing screens while driving all the time. Just not sure what setting I'm missing, of any. This seems to be an issue with a lot of people.

Melon x GSC from the NASC $10 seed menu turned out good. Very fruit forward with dough smell mixed in. Also happy to report that I popped 2 seeds from each pack above. All 16 seeds sprouted taproots but I broke 3 of them getting them off the paper towel.
