Hey all,
I was diagnosed with PCOS a few months ago. I think I might be insulin resistant. My OBGYN didn’t mention anything about insulin, but recommend that I lose some weight.
I’m 28 years old. In Nov. my a1c was 5.7 and my average blood glucose was 117mg/dL.
I used to feel really fatigued throughout the day, but that’s improved since I started eating less carbs and walking more.
I’ve been overweight for most of my life, and I feel that I continue to gain weight even though I eat very balanced meals. I average over 10k steps daily.
If I request to be tested for insulin resistance, what kind of testing would my doctors do? I’m also worried that they’ll dismiss my concerns.
Let me know what your experiences have been!

I was on my way to office around 12:30 pm, and i was almost at the end of electronic city fly over. A guy came speeding away from right side and it felt like if he was closer by 2-3 inches I would be done. He was travelling around 100+ kmpr and i was around 50kmph, I could not even sense him with my peripheral view and the vehicle sound.
I was agitated by that and try to confront that guy. He was slowed down near the y junction near electronicx city. I showed him my finger our of anger and frustation as it he drove away very closely at high speed.
Luckily he was caught near tollandr traffic police were present.Evenh hoysala arrivedandd just stood there. He was telling that I had molested her sister and he took out his car after that day.
In Electronic city Police stationii was sent to hospital for my treatment which I was not feeling at that moment. When I returned that guy was not present and he didn't come at all. Police didn't file FIR as they told I need to go to parappana agrahara police station and file a complaint. They have filed just incident report.
I have that guy's photo, number plate, address, the medical report which is sent by hospital to the police station.
I know I should have left it but it happenedoas a reaction as he was dangerously close like he was playing a video game. I am in Banglore from 7 years and have seen everything. I couldn't keep quite today.
I got a call in the evening from the traffic police station, said that guy's party had come and he doesn't know it they have taken the vehicle or not. Please suggest me what can be done about this.

Hi I am almost done with my bachelors degree and also have my tefl so Im ready to start looking for jobs in china and start the whole process of that. However between tefl, my last year of college, and working to pay bills i have had zero time to start learning mandarin. I know ive seen a lot of people say you dont have to speak local language for tefl job. However as a personal choice I will learn mandarin and its pretty high on my priorities. Im curious how much money I can expect to need to get started in China as I would like to start working part time these next months to work on my mandarin.
Ive heard a lot of positions provide housing in china, is this majority or should i plan on possibly having money for rent? Also is flight there covered or do i need to pay for that and any other general expenses i need to keep in mind atleast to hold me over to my first paycheck?
