I work as a logistics specialist. My current job (I’ll call Job 1) is very easy, mostly shipping out phones and tablets to clients. My bosses are also easy to get along with. However it only pays 16.50/hr and there are admittedly not many opportunities for growth or advancement. The PTO is great though, it’s unlimited (it’s essentially about 4 weeks max, as long as you don’t abuse it) and the medical benefits are good.
I’m struggling a bit financially as things get more expensive. I have also been told our company is losing one major client and we’re losing two more potentially. That leads me to believe that raises in three months aren’t going to be… great. The best I and anyone else can hope for (as per my boss’s guess) was 82 cents, only 5%.
I was recently offered to apply by a former boss that used to work at Job 1 a spot on her team at Job 2. It’s an instant three dollar pay raise. It’s a new department in a much bigger company and would involve shipping and preparing computers for WFH customer service agents. Because of how big the main company is and the growing need, there’s a lot of potential for growth. However due to being a new department (about a year old) there’s no news as to when or if raises will start soon. The PTO is also worse (only two weeks, and you have to accrue) and I’ve been told the medical benefits aren’t as good, which as someone with mental health needs is something I have to worry about.
There’s also the boss. She left Job 1 to take Job 2, and in between that time we’ve become friends. However she is notorious for being ‘a good friend but a bad boss.’ She has driven people away before due to her uptight work standards both at Job 1 and now at Job 2. Though we got along just fine at Job 1 and she never had an issue with me, the fact that that could change at any moment is still acute.
I’m supposed to get an answer from Job 2 early next week for a proper offer. But I’m really unsure as to whether I should take it or not. Another hangup is a part of me does want to wait until raises come around at my current job to make a decision but that won’t be for about three more months.
Which should I choose? Or, is there a way if I receive an offer for Job 2 to tell them I’d like to wait a little to see how raises pan out at my current job without the door closing forever in my face? Sounds like there will be more positions opening up later down the line. I’ve already signaled to Job 1 about the offer but they said they can’t try to match due to raises coming around the corner and to ‘please wait, you’re one of the best shippers we have.’

 | guys this scam isn’t new but i’ve just found out about it. this guy traded me and said they like my avatar and wanted to make art of it, this person asked for my discord and started the conversation there (screenshot 1) they make it seem like they’re doing the art and come back a few hours later but i was busy hence why there’s such a big gap and there are messages between these screenshots but they come back saying this (screenshot 2). they then proceed to send you a youtube link and luckily enough i looked up what he was asking and a youtube video from a year ago popped up (screenshot 3 incase you’re interested). i messaged them (screenshot 4) and they blocked me obviously incase you don’t want to watch the youtube video it basically explains how the plan is to steal items or robux and in his specific case they spend his robux on roblox gambling sites so roblox cant do anything about it which makes it a horrible scam. they get you to share your cookies and they hack you through there (i also didn’t watch the whole thing so if you want more info i suggest looking!) submitted by Narrow_Mail_1466 to PetSimulator99 [link] [comments] |

Hello all,
So I've been into Locksport for about a year now. I've progressed up to an orange belt, but I have been struggling hard with getting opens on any of the greet belt locks that I have. ( Abus 72/40, AL1100, and masterlock lotto locks)
I managed to open the AL1100 3 times, but each sort of felt like a fluke. I've been switching between the three and I cannot seem to make any head way. I've watched videos about the locks as well, just to see how other people go about picking them, but nothing has seemed to be my golden ticket.
To be honest I am really not sure where I am going wrong with any of them, especially this abus. I feel like I have trouble locating/feeling the pins because of the nature of the keyway. And I also feel like I'll get a few pins to set, but then I'll run into a pin where when I press up on it, I feel the counter rotation, but then it feels like no matter how hard I try to lift the pin, it won't budge, and the lock doesn't seem to want to counter rotate at all
This has really taken the wind out of my sails and I guess I am just looking for maybe some insight and or motivation not to quit the hobby. I really do enjoy it, with the exception of these 3 locks that are giving me such a hard time.
This is after I took a bit of time off because of these locks and still, no new insight or flash or lighting or light bulb moment.

Hey everyone I’m here hoping anyone could offer some advice.
I am 23 yo and have recently began to take Latuda 20mg so far it’s been good. I can sleep and wake up without feeling like I have to crawl out of bed every morning. It’s only about my third week on Latuda but it feels good so far I also have adhd and it’s helped out a little with that too.
I read that I can’t drink alcohol with this and honestly I’m a little bummed. Not because I abuse alcohol, I actually only drink about once a month or very rarely (mostly cause I don’t get the opportunity 😞) anyways it feels really frustrating because I’m in my 20s and I want to enjoy some normalcy.
I’ve never had a boyfriend and probably won’t anytime in the future, I’m still in community college, I have a part time job I don’t make enough so I live with my parents, and need medication to stay sane to an extent. All these factors make me feel behind in life or like I’m not normal and when I can get together with friends or people my age once a month I feel normal like I’m actually enjoying my life and not miserable in this very confusing time in life. We see how the world is recently too.
I just want to know if anyone is on Latuda and had alcohol as well can you tell me your experience or maybe give me some advice. I will try to not drink I don’t drink that often regardless but when I want too I don’t think I’ll stop myself since I want to enjoy this little bit of normalcy and fun in my 20s.
So any advice helps. I just want to enjoy every aspect of my life. I’m not saying alcohol is important and that I’m not going to abuse it but it’s just a part I enjoy occasionally.

Getting one shot by Shanks isn’t an anti-feat especially given the circumstances. He was a dumbass and decided to charge his rail gun, leaving him completely vulnerable.
Kidd fought Big Mom for at least 10 minutes during Wano. That in itself is a crazy feat. 1v1ing and yonko for multiple minutes and still being fine is a massive feat for Kidd. Not to mention, he took multiple named attacks, a named attack while nerfed, and has really good AP.
Kidd’s hax is also crazy. His problem before was that he had slow attacks that were extremely powerful. However, assign fixes this by making opponents unable to move.
