2025.01.24 19:49 K0JH1N Calls keep getting canceled before I make it on site
I just started volunteer firefighting last week. I really want to help folk in my local area. As the tittle says, every call I've tried to show up to gets canceled before I can make it. Sometimes I'm 3 minutes down the road and on one occasion I had not even walked out the front door yet. All the calls that I've gotten have been when I'm asleep so far so to compensate for that I've tried to have clothes right next to my bed so I can get out the door asap. it probably takes me around 8 minutes to get from sleeping in bed to out the door. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad folk are getting saved effectively and efficiently, but Its frustrating feeling like I'm not contributing. Does anyone have advice to help me with this?

I messaged him this weekend “shall we meet tomorrow babe?” And he didn’t reply, I called him and he was on a trip to hills with his office friends(including girls). The thing is.. he never allowed me to go with my friends(if some boys are involved too).. never to any trip or even if it was a local outing with friends(if even a single guy is involved) then he would go berserk, ask for location and snaps. I never went to a single trip for all these years we were together but he didn’t stop going on trips.. he didn’t stop staying in touch with his friends or even didn’t hesitate in making new friends.. even from the opposite gender as well. However, I on the other hand wanted to be his obedient lil girl(I WAS DUMB).. And never did any of these things. Now I have barely any friends to go on trip with. I keep stalking his girl “friends” and they keep posting pictures with him.. he is having fun. Also, he keeps complaining about having no money but he went a goddamn trip, he even borrowed money from me.
I like a dumbass keep lending him money. I am dumb. You know.. he’s my ex and he can go wherever I want BUT i even after breakup feel so guilty if i hang with any male (who is not my brother or father lol). I still feel if I talk to any guy friends.. I feel like I am cheating on him cuz he will not like it. Why am I still behaving the way he wants me to????
And the worst part is, he told me he will stop talking to me if he ever finds out that I went on a trip which included male friends. But he expects me to be in touch even if he went out with his female friends.
I love him but what the fuck. I need to stop being addicted to sex with and keep going back to him. He can go wherever he wants I am pissed.

I have been vomiting for the past few hours non-stop. There’s nothing left in my stomach. I am having lower abdominal cramps & diarrhea. It’s been hell. I threw up yesterday morning but felt fine after. I just got my second dose at the second level of Wegovy today, nausea started shortly after. I thought it was from the Wegovy, but Norovirus is going around my area and has the same symptoms. How do y’all tell the difference? Also any advice to stop the vomiting is greatly appreciated.
