2025.01.24 20:30 Beautifullifepup I finished the show younger. It felt fun, slightly different and a good outlet to get unplugged of the negativity of the world in 2025. However, the writers didn’t develop the storyline with a more appealing end.
My top favorite characters refreshing and fun. 1. DIANA. 2. MAGGIE 3. LAUREN
I dislike ZANE, CLARE, and CAITLIN
I missed Diana on season 7 I felt a gap with her humor.
I didn’t like how everything ended up between Clare and Josh. How in the world she was after Josh for a green card and then coming back pregnant and then after the wedding everything was over……they seemed happy together. I would have liked to see more the relationship between Liza and Caitlin. I think the actress chosen wasn’t the right one to short next to Liza. Zane was just ugh didn’t have any chemistry with Kelsey.
I didn’t like how Kelsey reacted after Rob wake up to the monetizing her app to investors and it was ok to ask for 20% commission fair enough and even negotiable since Rob was a top real estate investor.
Josh could have ended up with Kelsey more chemistry there with the characters! Both great actors!
lol I’m glad I finished the show …. But dissatisfied with the end. How about you?

2025.01.24 20:30 Leopoldo_Caneeny Hang in there folks -- 2025 is getting busy! I got an offer!
I was laid off completely without notice the Friday before Thanksgiving and couldn't get anyone to even say hello to me before the holidays. Have probably sent off over 200 applications in less than 2 months. Had a handful of screeners -- mostly from off-shore body shops but those didn't go anywhere.
But then all of a sudden a couple of weeks ago, started getting interview requests... including 2 roles where the recruiters found ME instead of me applying to them. Mixture of (American) contract houses and direct hire... all but a couple fully remote.
So today I got an offer!!! I'm soooooo thrilled. I also have another direct hire final round interview scheduled for next week (would be a lot less money but it would be FTE soooo.... ).
I'm not going to stop looking or interviewing until I actually start -- and even them, I'll probably keep seeing what pops up because I sure as heck don't want to be caught flat-footed again! at 61, I'm too old for this shit!
For reference, I'm a QA Lead with strong automation and performance testing background... and QA has not exactly been strong because they have moved soooooo many jobs off-shore. So all you real software developers and IT folks, hang in there, change is a-comin'. You'll find your way soon, too!!!
