Basically, as the caption says, I’m looking for a substitute for the sweet glutenous rice flour used in the kimchi spice mixture. I am mostly looking to make geotjeori, cucumber kimchi, radish kimchi, and spring onion kimchi. I live in Bangladesh where I can’t find sweet glutenous rice flour and I saw online that using regular rice flour isn’t the same and could even ruin the kimchi. I was wondering if there’s a substitute for the sweet rice flour, I’ve seen some people use mashed potatoes but I wanted to make sure that it actually works. Also is it possible to do it without the rice flour mixture? how should I go about it then? Please let me know, thanks!

2025.01.24 21:10 Visible-Friend4951 My insanely horrible wisdom tooth removal experience, last week
Sharing this not to instill fear on anybody, but just to share it somewhere and see if anyone else had a similar experience. So, i had my wisdom teeth removed on tuesday the 14th. procedure went smoothly, my dad took me home, and i passed out on the couch immediately after. that entire day went pretty much like any first day would be. i was able to take pain meds by the time i woke up from my post-anesthesia slumber so i was in minimal pain, also due to the fact i was still completely numb from the tip of my nose to my chin. (kinda shocked i was able to take pills honestly). by the next day, i still didn’t have any feeling in my lips or chin but the numbness had worn off on the inside of my mouth so i had more pain. it took a really long time for the numbing to wear off on my bottom lip and it wasn’t until late that night when i was able to feel it again. still in moderate pain, have no swelling or bruising, things were going easy peasy! fast forward to day three, i started having mild pain in my temples. i woke up at 7pm from a nap and the pain had become very intense accompanied by severe throbbing in my jaw that caused my jaw to shake/jitter. the pain meds weren’t working and i laid on the couch writhing in pain, just absolutely rolling around because it felt like my whole body was aching and i couldn’t relieve it. out of nowhere, mid-fit of pain, i got an intense wave of nausea and immediately began throwing up in the bathroom. mind you, this is day 3 post-op… vomiting + freshly removed wisdom teeth = NOT. FUN. AT. ALL. by 12am i was finally able to stop throwing up and my dad was freaking out because neither of us knew what the hell was going on. this is when i started getting crazy hot flashes and sweating profusely in absolute agony from the pain in my mouth and head. at this time, i wasnt able to check my temperature because we only have an oral thermometer and i physically couldn’t open my mouth for it. i tried my best to sleep it off and at 4am i jumped off the couch to throw up, yet again. we were finally able to check my temperature and to both my dad and i’s shock, i was at 102. i wasn’t able to keep anything down so i was forced to have zero pain meds in my system. it’s the 4th day now at this point and (still puking uncontrollably) my dad and i are able to make an emergency visit to my oral surgeon at 6am out of concern this is a dry socket situation. i was able to compose myself for as long as the surgeon needed to and upon examining my mouth, i had NO DRY SOCKET (shocking, i know). the oral surgeon assured us that the fever and my symptoms are common post-op due to the body’s healing process… he was able to prescribe me a zofran prescription asap and we clutched it at the pharmacy RIGHT AWAY. i had nothing in my system and was only puking stomach acid and mucus for hours, it was genuinely the most miserable i have ever felt in my entire life. i thought i was dying😭. i took the zofran and was able to digest it and i swear it felt like it saved my life. my mouth was in so much pain but i didn’t even care because i wasn’t throwing up anymore. my fever had subsided that morning and i returned back to a normal temperature with no nausea by the end of that night. (dear zofran, i love you). i’m day 14 post-op now and was able to chew food by day 6 and had zero nausea after the 4th day. i’m in no pain now, i SOMEHOW did not develop a dry socket, and to this day i have not a single clue why i got so sick so suddenly. it could’ve been the anesthetic metabolizing late in my body, it could’ve been a nerve in my mouth that triggered a migraine causing vomiting, it could’ve been my body’s reaction to the pain, or all of it. no idea. all i know is i feel like a survivor and i absolutely will never in my life wish that kind of agony on anybody else (well, i have a few politicians in mind..). anyways, thanks for reading if u did👍 lmk if this happened to anyone else lmfao.

Theres nothing in life I'm good at. Gaming is probably the hobby I've put the most time in. I'm not good at any game. I have 70 DAYS in a competititive game, I am not improving. I did aim practise, learned correct positining, but no. I can't improve. I seriously feel like something is wrong with me. I reach a point that I can't get better. Its a low bar.

Been on it for 4.5 months now. First month did 40mg and then jumped to 80mg and been there since month two. Never had super severe acne but it was persistent and wouldn’t go away no matter what I did for 10+ years! By month 2 my skin was nearly clear- I never purged! Ask me anything!

2025.01.24 21:10 Max-Wallet I present you: The Great Lakes Hockey League!
 | I always liked working in the creation zone and since we can do custom leagues and play with them in franchise mode I thought why not delve into the process of building a twelve team league around the Great Lakes region. So there you have it; the six teams from the Western Division AND their affiliate from the Great Lakes Prospects League (GLPL)! I’ll do another post in which we’ll take a look at the North-Eastern Division. So without further do, let’s do further: 1-SAULT ST. MARIE PALADINS I’m a big fan of cream instead of white so I went with that for the paladins. Speaking of the name it sounds like a holy order and since there “saint” in Sault Saint Marie, I felt like it was fitting. 2-SUDBURY LUMBERJACKS I’m not so sure about the pastel tones but it’s different then what we’re used to see and it’s an affiliate team so it doesn’t bothers me to much. I hesitated between the axe and the trapper as the secondary logo but finally went with what you see here. 3-THUNDER BAY BOLTS I some time feel like their GLPL counterpart should be the “big” teams as I don’t like the Bolts logo that much. I’ve been creating a team in Thunder Bay since NHL 19 so it was only fair to give them a franchise now. The Volta are now known as the Bolts (less original but more fitting). 4-ONTARIO PROVINCE MAVERICKS They keep the same colours but they’re much cooler in my opinion. The alternate logo is one of my favourites. There really is something I love about these ECHL logos. 5-MINNEAPOLIS COSMOS It’s been a while since I wanted to design a team with the aesthetics of the Houston Astros and I think I made a good job with the Cosmos (initially the Crew). Their alternate jersey is similar to the one the Oilers had a few years back. 6-ST. PAUL ROOSTERS Yes, it’s a funny name, but I wanted to make the GLPL a bit less serious and I seriously think it’s nicer. I was close to naming them the Nightmare (I would have used the werewolf crest) like I did in NHL 20 but finally settled for the Roosters. 7-CHICAGO ZEPHYRS The identity of this team really is based around the city of Chicago itself. The colours are close to those of the flag, Zephyrs is a reference to the nickname of Chicago: “The Windy City” and there’s stars on the pants and third jersey just like there is in the center of the city flag. The logo is a Hare because I could find anything better. I still think it looks pretty good. 8-ROCKFORD REBELS Went for tamed colours compare to the Zephyrs which have a brighter theme. The logo I used is probably one of the most popular one and I used it in NHL 21 for my Dakota Desperados. In a way, the Rebels are the Desperados legacy. 9-MILWAUKEE WOLF PACK Perhaps my favourite of the western division franchise. Their alternate jersey is simply amazing, in my head canon, it’s from the “southern series” (equivalent of the Winter Classic/Stadium series in my lore haha) game they played against the Bolts in Florida or something. Proud of what I did. 10-WASHINGTON COUNTY RAVENS I don’t like the ravens half as much as the Wolves, I even think they’ll be relocating (tell me where should they go, in Wisconsin preferably). I chose that name over the Winter Hawks because in real life Wolves and Ravens are knows to cooperate (a little fact I wanted to reference). I forgot to screenshot their alternate but it’s ugly anyway. 11-DETROIT FUEL Detroit is back in the West baby! One of my oldest design it would without a doubt be a part of the GLHL original six. The name is a clear hommage to Detroit being the automobile capital of the world. 12-WINDSOR TOP-GUNS The top-guns could have been Ottawa affiliate as you’ll understand when you’ll see my other post, but I felt like they belong with Detroit. One of our rivals in my youth league had a similar colour pattern. Finally, the league’s looking to add two expansion teams in this division, doing so will make the battle for the playoffs more exciting and competitive. 4 groups have already submitted their candidacy (Green Bay, Des Moines, Fort Wayne & Muskegon). One down, three to go. In a funny coincidence, shortly after finishing this set I saw a video of a guy who's hiking all over Japan with his adorable Shiba puppy, and in one shot I could easily recognize plum blossoms, blooming amongst the snow. I think the designers captured them really well!

Hoping this question makes sense. I have google WiFi (3) pucks. The first puck acts as a the router. Would I still get very similar speeds by wiring all three together and connecting one to my PC to the second mesh unit as opposed to connecting my PC directly to the first router?
