2025.01.24 21:04 Sweetcatsy Don’t know what to do anymore, I’m tired
I have severe IBS (I’ve had a tons of tests and the doctors can never find anything it’s like I’m always in a gray area so they got tired and diagnosed me with IBS)
I alternate between constipation and softer (not quite diarrhea) stools. When I’m constipated it sucks but I can fonction properly, the problem comes with the softer stools. Sometimes (it’s random it seems but only when I have softer stools) when I have to go to the bathroom I get these terrible stomachs pain, but I’m talking about TERRIBLE! I get chills, I’m sweating and I start shaking, I almost passed out multiple times. Then when the bowel movement stops the extreme pain stops as well, it leaves me with an slight stomach ache but nothing terrible.
I tought I had gotten better because last year I would have those attacks once or twice a month and for the last 5 months it stopped. When I had those attacks frequently, I stopped eating and I lost a considerable amount of weight, I was afraid of being alone because I didn’t want to have to deal with those attacks by myself. I was constantly scared of the pain and couldn’t do much. it seemed to have stopped for a few months but now it’s back and I’m afraid.
The pain is terrible, it’s the worst thing I’ve ever felt and the anxiety is related to the pain which sucks because I can’t do anything about it.
I can’t really work because I always end up having to spend so much time in the bathroom. IBS isn’t considered as something that’s “bad” for most people it’s a mild inconvenience but for me, it’s ruining my life.
I’m tired of this pain and anxiety, I want to be able to work a full time job or be able to spend one day without having stomach issues….
(I’ve tried everything: changing diets, no more gluten, no more soy, no dairy, no spicy food, no coffee, I’ve tried probiotics, mint tablets, tea, dicyclomine, benzos, meditation, buying a little stool to put my feets on when I go to the bathroom, wearing less tight clothing, heating pads, …..)
I don’t know what to do anymore, I can’t function anymore because of this. I’m sorry for the rant, I just need to express this feeling to someone.

I own 6 eufy Security Indoor Cam C120 (2K), and they were working fine for years. I lost access to the email address I used for my eufy account, and (stupidly) there’s no way to update the email on your account. You have to remove your cameras, create a new account, and start over. Not only is this a huge pain to re-pair all the cameras, redo all the settings and integrations, etc., but even after spending hours factory resetting and troubleshooting, the cameras would not rejoin the WiFi. Support said that because I was outside the warranty period, I had to buy new cameras. Because they bricked them.
-Unfortunately, we suspect the cameras may have experienced a deeper connectivity issue post-reset. -As a resolution, we would like to offer you a 30% discount on a new purchase of replacement cameras.
And of course the 30% discount is also a joke. These cameras are basically always on sale at Amazon (in fact, they’re currently 33% off the “regular” price).
A couple hundred dollars isn’t the end of the world, but I sure as hell will not be giving them more money because they screwed up my devices. Avoid this company like the plague. Their “support” only exists to make you spend more money.

My family has maxed out the 6 lines on my current Fi account, and I need a new line for work. I have a separate gmail account for this, but when I tried to set up financing, it told me:
"You're already in our system and have applied for credit using a different Google Account."
I know there are some older threads that never got resolved, just wondering if anyone has had any success since then.

Reckon that the move from Frankie when Charlotte was revealed was to tell her that no matter what, Charlotte’s game is over. Logic goes something like this:
if we go word for word, we both get voted out one after the other. No matter what you do you will not get the money. You can either throw me under the bus for no reason and give the money to the other three, or let me (your oldest friend in the game), play.
Then the response from Charlotte would be, I think, to threaten the word-against-yours scenario, and suggest that they vote together as a united front until the final three, when they then can both have the chance to convince the third round. At least then the two survive past the first two votes and can play for the jackpot. The two of them staying quiet could be explained as controlling information / presenting a united front until they don’t.
Obviously Charlotte’s ‘reveal’ that the seer said she’s faithful is less transformative to the game than Frankie’s, so it’s questionable if she could force that. And Charlotte and Frankie should both privately get their narrative across as hard as possible to the other three. But I think the suggestion that they don’t immediately contradict each other is optimal for the both of them is correct. What do you think?

As the title says, I'm turning 40 this year and finally feel like I'm at a place to start on my financial journey. After reading a lot of posts, I'm feeling overwhelmed and a bit depressed for not starting earlier... Hoping I could get some help on what to purchase for my Roth IRA!
I just opened a Fidelity Roth IRA account, previously had a individual brokerage account but no funds in it yet. Currently have zero debt and will be able to max out my Roth IRA of $7000 each year.
For Roth IRA:
I'm interested in FIPFX, FZROX, FZILX for mutual funds. VT, VOO, VTI or VXUS for ETFs.
What do you think I should go for? I like the idea of FIPFX since it's my targeted retirement year and from what I read, is just a buy it and forget it stock. But what else should I purchase and what percentage?
For Individual brokerage account:
No idea what would be smart to buy... is it better for me to focus all of my money in Roth IRA? I also read that ETFs are better for non retirement accounts... If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
