The term hall of famer has been overused by fans and media to label players.
Mainly Matthew stafford comes to mind. Lot of his fans and the rams fanbase keep saying he is a future hofer and not only that, they also claim he's a guaranteed first ballot. If we look at all the hof qbs by decade, at one point or another they were considered the best qb or in the t3/4 for a significant stretch. Stafford was not in those discussions and even when he moved to LA, he really was considered in the mahomes Lamar Rodgers Brady tier of players. I don't even think people would say he was the best on the team when compared to AD or cooper kupp. Hofer means you were considered at the top tier and t2-3 level at your position when you played, and stafford was not. At least Matt Ryan has an mvp and can claim he was the best qb in the entire league, can't even do that with MS.
Unfortunately with Eli manning getting in, this is going to open the door for a lot of lesser players to get in and be spoken to truth by the media.

2025.01.25 00:19 spinningoutwaitin How do you get over the feeling of “I might need/want this some day”?
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve gotten rid of things that I later needed or wanted, whether it was weeks later, months later, or even years later. It has happened way too often, so now I don’t want to rid of anything, even if it’s clutter that I haven’t used in years. I especially feel this way about items that I cannot just go out and replace, because they are no longer being made in the same style, pattern, etc.
I’ve heard of the whole “put it all in a bag or a box and then if you don’t find yourself wanting it after a few months, get rid of it.” But even that doesn’t sound like a good solution to me because like I said, it could be years before I want/need something again.
And then when this idea gets reinforced, it makes it even harder to get rid of things. For example, I was really into making friendship bracelets as a child. I kept all my embroidery floss in a small suitcase, probably a good hundred colors, and I never got rid of it. I didn’t touch it for years and years. Now, as an adult, I’ve recently gotten into embroidery, and I don’t have to spend money on thread because I kept all of the thread I had as a child. This only proves my belief that I shouldn’t get rid of things, even if I haven’t used them in years.
Does anyone have any advice? I’m not trying to be stubborn; I just hate wishing I still had things I got rid of and then either not being able to replace it or needing to spend money to buy it again.

I'm back again. Sorry for asking a lot of tech-related questions, but it's very likely I cannot find info for what I'm asking about anywhere else. First, I unsuccessfully ask about flashing an Action Replay's ROM via Windows 95/98, and now I have another question to which I seek answers.
So, I have an EMS Action Replay cartridge which is now unusable because I didn't think through the concept of the ROM filename apparently being too long to be in compliance with the 8.3 filename scheme, and it froze up.
Well, I got a secondhand GameShark cartridge in the mail today, and while it does prove to be a useful cheat code device, it cannot play imports or boot the TONYHAX International Boot CD despite the TONYHAX International page saying otherwise -- and I followed the instructions to the letter.
My question now is: Is it possible to enter the lines of the TONYHAX International Memory Card Loader into the GameShark and try saving to your Memory Card?

So much is going on in the world.
Wars. Inflation. Political instability. Deportations.
Last one gets me emotional tho. I think about all the families that could be torn by this… just imagine you’re living one day happily and the next hour or day you’re in handcuffs boarding a flight to somewhere unknown. No contact with loved ones, only shipped out with the clothes on your back with no help. It’s a scary thought really.
So with that being said, is there any particular procedures we should follow against deportation?
For example, let’s say you’re a minority but a US citizen born in the states, even attended university. Would a driver license or passport suffice? Would a person have to speak proper English to stay?

Could anyone help me please? I spent about 1 hour trying to fix this now, curseforge won't save my settings in the minecraft launcher, for example, if I download 1.18.2 in installations of minecraft launcher it won't show up if I launch 1.18.2 (then launcher closes) then close 1.18.2 and open launcher again and it's gone.
Same goes with any edits I make to allocate more gb to the modpack, etc.
My main problem is this: Only now did I find out that apparently I'm using the wrong version of minecraft? I checked data packs and it says they are for older versions of minecraft, and I tried installing 1.18.2, opened it, launched a world on it, etc, but like I said, curseforge doesn't save it when I start minecraft launcher through there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
