Finally put together a solid communist Ethiopian run. Basically puppeted/cored all of Africa (using the resistance decisions) by 1942, took out the axis after that (with Allies helping) by 1944, then used the Axis navies to take out the Allies by 1948 (getting navy tech and then getting to the USA takes awhile!), and then one last huge war with the Soviet Bear in late 1948, we both had over 6 million man armies, it was glorious haha as a 2k+ hr enjoyer .. this was really my best game and wanted to share =)
Also using my African carriers with the Bismark and Turpitz against the alllied navies was .. really satisfying haha.

2025.01.25 00:45 KaldaraFox My New Favorite Mechs
FireSniper - FireStarter but with everything (and I mean everything) ripped out and replaced with 2 UAC2++ and ammo. Absolutely rocks in pairs and keeps the tonnage way down on missions.
FleaBite - Flea stripped down to just the two M Lasers with every support slot filed with S Lasers. Very hard to hit, very fast, keep it dancing around between enemies and Melee as often as possible. The S Lasers fire after melee. I've taken this on missions that the opponents had Assault mechs and haven't lost one fully yet. Worst was one hit that took off an arm.
I've been running most of my missions with those three and an Orion (ON1) kitted out with a Gauss Rifle++ (-2 tons, -1 slot), 3 ammo packs for that, an LRM15, and 2 ammo packs for that.
I'm still exploring what works and what doesn't, but these are my current faves.

I will have a baby soon im am a data driven person. For my firstborn I would love to create as much of a datasets as I can what would be your recomendations?
For now I have 0 groupe. Data when the baby is hitting Frome 0-1 year old I have sleep, food and screent time monotoring
What would you add and what would you say are most useless information to geather? If this posts is active I will de an update in a year!

2025.01.25 00:45 Steveasifyoucare Credit Union denied my Debt Consolidation
I’m pretty irritated right now. First, my credit score is almost 700 on Experian’s credit estimator. But my actual score was 638. What’s up with that?
So, without knowing that, I applied for a debt consolidation loan. I’ve been with the same credit union for 30 years. They kept calling it a personal loan, even though they advertise a” credit consolidation loan”, which rang alarm bells, because my concern was that they would not do the calculations pro forma and they weren’t considering how I was going to use the money. I may as well asked to borrow $15,000 to take it off vacation.
So here’s the thing. I own several rental properties. And I’m worth the low end of seven figures. I I’m not saying that to Brad because obviously, I apparently can’t get a loan to save my life. Anyway, I live in a low cost of living area, and I make more than six figures, my wife makes half of that, and I bring in $70,000 per year and gross revenues. So I’m clearing income of hundred and $80,000 on my own annually, or more than 230,000 with my wife.
But yeah, my credit score is 638. Despite the fact that I have closed out six small accounts within the last year and they only respond on my credit history in the last four years is one time about three years ago I needed to pay three mortgages at the last minute to the same bank, and they close their pay my phone system down on a Friday, so I missed the end of the month. What keeps my score low is that I have $500k in mostly real estate debt. Never mind the properties are worth more than $1.5 million. The system is simply not made for people who have multiple rental properties!
I think the thing that bothers me the most is that, despite the fact that I’ve been on the same credit union for 30 years, I had no access to the underwriters. My long history with the bank, including the fact that I paid off four separate loans. In the last 10 years, meant absolutely nothing to them. I may as well apply to an online bank.
I did have a thought that I could borrow against my car since it is paid for. Since my dopey credit union already ran my score, I guess I could use that again by borrowing against my car. The rate would probably be lower, though they won’t let me borrow as much.
With or without my credit union, I will be out of debt within two years or so…. Rental property is not withstanding.
So, with my perpetually bad credit score, is there a bank you guys recommend? It’s worth noting, that I have two discharges that are five years old that I have faithfully been paying on to the same exact bank that did the discharges every month without fail for five years. My credit union said they couldn’t help me because of my low score, and the two discharges. I tried to point out that part of my low score is the two discharges, so they were counting the same Event twice. The person on the phone didn’t understand what I was talking about.
Anyway, thanks for listening to me vent. I’m sure some of y’all are gonna laugh at me. That’s OK. I just want access to cheaper money to speed up my debt payoff. If y’all have any recommendations, I’d appreciate it.

Hi All, sharing it in this subreddit as I learned a lot from here before putting together the application for my brother.
Appointment in Delhi was easily available From appointment day to receiving the visa took 9 days
My brother (Indian passport holder) has been unemployed for 1 year now and essentially the documents revolved around sponsorship from myself and my father.

So i stopped four days ago so i could get a job at verizon. Id like to get the job NOW because of my work ethic but i cant get a conclusive answer on if they prescreen or not. Im in a legal state and i have my medical card because i actually use it for anxiety because i hate pills and its seems to work.
So im starting the 45 day trek to hopefully get the damn thing done but im sitting around hating the fact i cant eat or watch a movie or even just plain relax. I woke up to a panic attack today and it took me 15 mins of breathing exercises on youtube to calm down.
I really want to just smoke again and just do a detox drink for the job, but im paranoid it wont work. Im also paranoid the 45 days wont be enough. But i also dont want to throw away my progress.
I used to smoke a quarter a week of bud and a half gram vape cart per week. Which compared to some ive read isnt a lot but its still enough for withdrawal.
Sorry noone is around to talk to about this stuff and i needed to let it out.
