What do you guys think about the difference between gameplay styles? Would you incorporate some of one or the other? Personally I like the wild play of normal and the hardcore mode both evenly. I know slide cancelling and things become more challenging in hardcore. Normal play is stupid fun too though because you can take like 20 bullets.

2025.01.25 01:10 thickboyatlas Tokyo in Golden Week - Doable?
Hey all,
Have a trip to Japan planned for May 3-20. I'm aware this overlaps with Golden Week and that things will be incredibly busy, but I'm curious what to expect for how things will look like inside of Tokyo.
From what I've heard a lot of people are traveling out of Tokyo so shinkansens/Kyoto are the places to stay away from. That said, is Tokyo at all manageable? Or are places like Akihabara, Shibuya, etc. going to be completely packed? Just trying to set my expectations properly, and adjust as needed.
Also, I see that most museums are closed on Mondays except for national holidays. Given that Monday (may 5) and Tuesday (may 6) are both holidays, does that mean museums will be open both days and closed on the wednesday?

I've wanted to reorganize my space and make my glaze ingredients more accessible. Most of the things I have in large quantities have been in plastic totes that I slide under tables, stick in corners, etc. It works, but it's not great. I've been looking at various trash cans over the past few months - heavy-duty things like the Rubbermaid Brute line - but they're ungodly expensive. Sometimes the lids cost nearly as much as the cans. In an idle moment the other day, while thinking about something completely unrelated, I remembered the food storage bins I used when I had a dog. I went to Chewy to see what they've got and found my solution. These bins hold 50 lbs, are on wheels, and are airtight. They're on sale right now for $26 and if you buy three you get one free. Other places also sell them, but Chewy has the best price I could find.

Hey this goes for myself too, but playing this game too much and whining on this subreddit will only worsen or ruin the experience of this game.
Take a break, you don't need to play every day for 12 hours. Also, stop blaming teammates for everything, there's always something you can do better.
Also, this subreddit should be for sharing tips and tricks, memes, or cool moments. But the whining dominates this page too much. Sometimes you want to vent, I understand. But take a breath, cool your head, or try another day.
Some suggestions for the game are welcome, but too often I see a demand for nerfs or complaints about losing.
Just try a new perspective when your head is in the right space. If you need a way to vent, talk to a friend, or write in a journal. However at the end of the day this is just a game and there are real problems out there like finances, war, economy, and more. Don't let a 15 minute match control you or your mood.

My workplace (redacted because posting about it would get me fired) in Canada is a global leader in our specific field (also redacted) announced earlier this week that the entire company would not get our merit bonuses this year because the higher ups promised Three Different Clients and Our New Owners (American) that we'd make tones of product and 250million usd in profits.
In reality, 5/8 of our processes were down for half or all of the 2024, one was brand new and the building wasn't even done construction by june. There was a hiring freeze not long before processes started back up so there's really only 5-6 trained staff running processes that need 8-10 people Per Shift (4 12hr shifts running 24/7)
We're suppose to shut the all the buildings down twice a year to do maintenance, reset electrical systems, and clean out boilers. We didn't get either, and one of those is over Christmas, my manager has to come in at 3am on Christmas day because something broke, and he had to stay the whole day trouble shooting.
In short it's a major shit show, I've spoken with people on all levels who are looking for new jobs, because it's not just a "bonus" it's part of their salaries and part of our contracted income they've taken away. It's the two-faced lies of a company whos grown too fuckin fast in the last decade and forgot its roots.
