I'm considering getting the Ivy ocarina from STL, I'm just mostly curious about the harmony possibilities with it. How well tuned is it across the range, meaning being able to play the highest A and lowest C in tune together. Is there a breath curve in it at all?
I just want to know if I should not even consider getting it, or if it's actually a decent ocarina for self accompaniment.

I'm just learning how to adult so bear with me pleaseeeee. So I know there's colors, darks (navy & black), whites (I assume beige is considered white? idk), towels in their own load, blankets in their own load & sheets in their own load...did I get that right?
But for underwear & socks are those separated by color with the loads above or washed all together in its own separate load? My Mom always did socks/underwear together in its own load but now im hearing that it's not necessary?
Also what is considered "colors" cause reds bleed onto other clothes sometimes. So are reds in their own load as well?

I think they find Crystal’s body first thing. We can see in the ceromony with the long white coats and lanterns, they sit and eat at a long table paralleling the greek feast. I think they’re cannibalising someone from that parralell, I could be wrong, but they’ve always justified their actions through the wilderness, and in doing so, have become numbed to cannibalism.
It wasn’t some hushed topic anymore, it was their way of life. And if they do find Crystal’s body, they’re going to think it’s a gift from the wilderness. She’ll be preserved from the cold, depending on how long after the ice thaws that season 3 does takes place, then they’ll celebrate it. Calling upon the entity through dancing and lighting fires, inspired by pagan traditions, likely.
I think it’ll be a great opening. After 2 years of waiting, people who have forgotten mostly what the show is about will pick it back up and say “Oh yeah, they’re cannibals in a cult, right,” It’ll set the scene perfectly.
I do wonder if Misty comes clean about the death at any point.

2025.01.27 04:30 Numerous_Driver1898 How can I come to terms with my partner smoking weed?
as the title suggests, i’m not the biggest fan of drugs nor do i illicit them— my partner quit smoking for me due to respect of my preference that i don’t like to date people who smoke, but as of late i’ve been beginning to understand that restricting her right to do as she pleases (smoke & drink with friends, etc) is very manipulative of me, and denies her freedom.
I want to give her these freedoms and let her spend time with friends who smoke, but it’s a personal battle wherein i just can’t shake the fact that she’s getting high and losing her sobriety. I value sobriety very much, and the only time i’ve smoked was with my girlfriend to try and understand it/empathize with it, and i definitely do, but the resentment of it all still remained afterwards.
i grew up always being taught that drugs and alcohol are never good, and i abided by those rules for my entire life, and my parents reflect that onto me as well, and i take pride in my sobriety. i don’t want that pride to be reflected onto my girlfriend because it’s restricting and she doesn’t like it— how can i help her?

2025.01.27 04:30 WAxlRoseX My fulltime job is making life unbearable, currently work freelance graphic design for a company as my side hustle. Debating asking to reduce full time hours or just leave the job and primarily work freelance design but need ADVICE
Hey. I need advice. My friends tell me what I wanna hear I think, so I need an outside point of view.
I currently work two jobs. One is FULL TIME at a Hospital in their copy center. I print everything the hospital uses. Every form, poster, brochure, etc. However, the job SUCKS. There's no "Guide" or anything that tells me how to print any of it. Everything is unique and different and there's nothing that tells you how. So I have to ask the senior (there are two of us) about every single item that isn't a basic poster or brochure, and I have a file in my Notes app that is just details on all of these different forms. For example, there are forms that require carbon paper with hole punches and double siding, but the same form in like a variant will have no holes or double siding and then I'll get a call from a nurse or someone at the hospital complaining that its wrong and telling me they're all out and need it urgently. This full time job, has little to do with my degree in design. It's a copy center. I was told when I was hired that it would be a print shop where I'm doing minor design work but its literally making copies all day. My coworker, the senior associate, also just sits in her office playing Genshin Impact and when I have questions she's like visibly annoyed. It's super uncomfortable.
Other than that, on a personal note, it requires me to wake up at 5 AM. I work until 3 PM and get home around 4:30. My entire life, everything I've done and all of my friends are up a bit later. I have no social life anymore. Nothing. I go to work, I see two people all day and get yelled at on the phones, I come home, my friends and I will talk briefly but I'm in bed at 9-10 PM. They are usually gaming or seeing movies. On the weekends I can't stay up until 11-12 to hang out anymore, I'm so exhausted by 10. I feel it effecting me, and making me feel isolated. I feel stupid for saying that but it is genuinely effecting me by not getting to really see or talk to anyone. A job where I'm working 9 to 5 instead would be much more ideal, I feel like. This part about my social life is moreso just complaining and its whatever but it's sort of the cherry on top of this dogshit sundae.
On the side I've been working a freelance graphic design job. I do about ten hours a week for my former university, in a contract role until at least June. It's good money, I make about the same money in both jobs except I work significantly less in the design role, and I love it. But I can never make meetings that I'm invited to (not required) and I can't go to campus (I'm invited, not required) to work because they're done at 4.
I have been applying to other jobs that are more related to my degree and I've had some interviews. But it's also tough to interview because I'm at my full time job during everyone's operating hours and getting out of work is such a hassle. I'm also hopeful that the freelance design job I'm currently doing might offer me a full time role when their next fiscal year starts (we've talked about it and they said they aren't sure what the budget will allow next year, but they want me to continue whether I'm freelance or full time). At the very least, I think I can get by with just the freelance design income for a little bit.
I need genuine advice. What would you all do? I don't want to just flat out quit the job tomorrow or something I want to strategize and I feel like I'm doing everything right but it's one of those things where I don't have a light at the end of the tunnel and it's making it harder.
