So this my first playthrough of the game with me and my wife doing 2 player Coop. She's beaten the game like 3 times, and I've put 220+ hours so far into the game. We're finally fighting the final boss this night. We destroy the brain and we're at the pier. We have Orpheous as a mind flayer, and right as he asks me to kill him.... "Error, connection timed out"... ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!? Why the FUCK would you make the finale of your game nearly 3 hours fucking long when your shit ass servers can't hold a fucking multiplayer session that fucking long? Why the FUCK did they think it was a good idea to not let you rejoin the multiplayer session in the end game? It's got to be one of the stupidest fucking game design decisions I've seen in a long time. And I play fucking Dead by Daylight, so I've seen some really REALLY fucking dumb design decisions but this just takes the fucking cake. I must've punched idk how many holes in my wall in that moment. Because GOD DAMN it just took all the enjoyment I had for the games finale and crushed it, ate it, then shit it out and spat on it for good measure before pouring gasoline on it and lighting said shit on fire. ARGHHHHUH! Alright.... Rant over, I'm gonna try again next week and pray to selune that Larians dogshit servers last fucking long enough for me to actually beat the game.

Sorry for the title if it seems to be a ragebait, but I wish to point out this problem and I am probably just one of the many that get troubled by it.
I struggle daily in my classes, not because the material is hard—no, no, solving triple integrals is a breeze—but because my instructors can’t speak fluent AMERICAN 🦅🇺🇸🦅. I came to this great institution expecting lectures delivered in the official dialect of freedom and democracy, and instead, I’m deciphering accents like I’m cracking the Enigma code.
Let me give you an example. One time, a professor—brace yourselves for this—wrote colour instead of color. COLOUR. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. This isn’t Hogwarts! This is the University of Illinois, where we spell like champions of liberty, and we drop those extra letters like tea in Boston Harbor.
I’m an ECE major, and it’s even worse in technical classes. Half the time, I’m sitting there wondering, Am I learning about circuits or being cursed in Parseltongue? I asked one professor to clarify a concept, and I swear he pronounced diode in a way that made me question my entire existence. “Dio-deh”? “Die-odd”? This is America—we speak AMERICAN.
I’m not saying we should exclude brilliant minds from teaching. Far from it! But I’m suggesting we implement an AMERICAN Proficiency Test™. You know, something to ensure they can deliver lectures in the dulcet tones of George Washington reading the Constitution out loud. Maybe throw in a course where they practice saying “aluminum” the right way (a-loo-min-um, not al-you-min-ee-um) and master the fine art of ordering a cheeseburger at a drive-thru.
I just want what’s best for everyone. For them, for me, for the bald eagle watching over us all. Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just about accents—it’s about our shared duty to protect the sanctity of AMERICAN 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. Whenever I try searching for them, I have so much trouble finding. They’re usually listed as onesies and the sizing is sometimes weird (sometimes a sleep sacks wont be in months but in S/M/L or 1/2/3 etc.) so scrolling through all the baby clothes isn’t really effective.
