Running into these street sellers of condos is pretty normal at high st and near Meridien, but yesterday it was something else. While walking for 30 minutes I encountered no less than 10 group of sales people all handing out their fliers to overpriced condos.
They must be really struggling to offload these condos. Can’t imagine who pays 50m pesos for a shoebox 3 bedroom condo.

2025.01.27 04:20 mangetonchapeau What ski/snowboard roof system to use on CRV hybrid sport-l 2024 ?
It has flush rails on the roof, looking for a system to take 3 skis + 1 snowboard.
Did a bit of research, looks like folks recommend a ski rack like the thule snowpack extender (480$ for the version for 6 skis)
The OEM cross bars are 280$ (shipping included), but I read they are a bit too close to the roof to comfortably fit snowboards.
Looking on thule website, they recommend the thule wingbar evo, but that's 660$ across the wingbar and the 2 flush foot on top of 480$ for the snowpack, so 1.1k$ of parts, which seems crazy.
Any recommendations ? Bonus point if that helps also take 4 bikes during the summer.

Hello, I live in a corner house and have had 13 breaking and entering crimes this year happen in my neighbourhood. More than half were 1-4 months ago. I recently (1.5 week ago) had my neighbour 3 houses down my street get his house broken into, with 3 guys in all black pointing weapons at the home owner then proceeding to rob the house. 4 days later his car (might not be his but it was super close to the homeowner) gets stolen. We saw many cops come and stay there in front of our house just watching out for our neighbour till 3 am. This is because the robbers were never found. Now at 7 pm today I was home alone, with a person in a white sedan parked for 1 hour just down the street. I have my window open so they could obviously see me. After an hour the car begins to go in circles around the my block in the neighborhood and passing the front and side of my house about 15x. Then another black sedan comes and park in front of my house where I am sitting with my window open gaming, he begins to look at me through my window for a minute, I look at him with eye contact for maybe 2 minutes. He then drives about 32 feet down the road and parks in the middle of the road to where I can barely see his car. I saw him in the car just sitting in there for 10 minutes to what seemed to be him texting. He then drives off. After 1 minute I had 2 different Cars come around the corner of my house speeding to go to the same direction the guy that was texting went. After that I’m not sure where the 3 cars went, same with the white sedan. But then another white suv comes onto the block and begins circling the block. Making it 5 vehicles.
I am very scared that they were checking out my house and might do a break-in during midnight. I don’t know what to do in this situation. I don’t have pictures of the cars or anything but they were passing my house slowly each time, dressed in all black. Im wondering if I’m able to report to the police and ask for them to patrol around the neighborhood for the night because we never do have any in the neighborhood. I’m also a night owl meaning I stay awake very very late and I always check out when there’s a car passing due to fear of any of this happening.
Note1: my neighborhood is somewhat quiet and i recognize most car that pass by. But these guys I have never seen in my neighborhood.

I sponsored my now ex husband from a diff country via a spousal sponsorship. He was landed in Canada for about 5 months before he severely assaulted me, I won’t go into much detail but I was close to dying, spent some time in hospital, have separated since
I did press charges, and there is an ongoing criminal trial
If he tries to come at me for sponsorship support, will I still have to pay this? I know when I agreed to sponsor him I had to sign a contract stating I’d be financially responsible for him for X amount of years, but will these extenuating circumstances void that contract?
Yes I agreed to sponsor him, and I was fully aware if we divorced within a certain time frame I’d be responsible. But my marriage was legitimate at that time, I was in love and truly didn’t anticipate divorce. I didn’t divorce for a silly reason, I divorced to protect my life, I would’ve never sponsored him had I known
He hasn’t tried to come after me for any money… yet … but he’s unpredictable and I want to stay ahead of this

While using the DP during a couple of power outages last week I heard about two “beeps” from the unit. I went to look at it and the LED was on (it had apparently woke up from the LED timeout) and I saw no error icons or anything unusual on the device or in the app. Everything was and is working fine. The next day the same thing happened but this time it was charging from 97% to 100% (spinning wheel on screen) which was the charge limit set in “Energy Management”. It’s a brand new machine and this is all new to me so I speculated it woke to charge or some other system check and beeped when it powered itself on but I questioned why the second beep. In any case I found nothing in the manual nor anything searching this sub to tell me if this is normal, what it is or do I have a problem. Everything seems to be working fine and I know I can just turn the “beep” off in the app but 1) I like getting the feedback when I switch on the AC output as well as turning on the machine from the app and 2) I don’t like potentially masking a problem if there is one. Can anyone help me? I’ve reached out to Ecoflow tech support but so far no help there.
