Last year I set out on doing a hardcore wedlocke of crystal legacy detailed here. I was pretty happy with most of my iterations so far up to that point, but after platinum I realized my out of pair switches needed adjustment. I was also no longer happy with setting an arbitrary time limit for them, even if it balanced it well enough. Because of this I put it on hold for the time being, but I'm ready to now take a shot at it. I had some concern for how different it was from the standard wedlocke rules, but I don't care as much now. I'll probably call it wedlocke minus or something to set it apart.
The problem I run into is that I don't like the whole switch token concept either as I'd rather not have to keep track of some meta number. I want to be able to switch to any other pokemon outside the pair with some kind of reasonable boundary or drawback so they only assist the original pair and not take over the battle, preferably with differences depending on the gender of the mon you're switching to as I still like the concept of 2 soft teams.
In my omega ruby wedlocke, I did the same gender only switch and they could only fight that specific pokemon and must be switched back after they get a KO, but I did this in switch mode so probably wouldn't work in set as too many turns are wasted. I also tried a version where they can stay in as long as they can until you decide to switch back to the original pair, but I didn't want a pokemon from a different pair sweeping battles. In a harder game though this may not be as bad.
I'm likely to settle on same gendered switches stay in as long as they can where opposite gender switches can only make 1 KO. This way, you have to weigh in the risk reward of switching immediately to a counter on the other "soft team", or making their partner take a hit first to possibly get more value, or holding out. I'm still not entirely set on it though if there is a better way to go about it.

So I’ve done a lot of digging and reading and I’m just super unsure of what kit to even start trying. My husband (32M) and I (26F) both dislike cooking. Due to this, we eat out way too much. We both agree we want to try to eat a little better however he is an extremely picky eater due to some sensory issues. To simplify it, the only things he can really eat are chicken and fish. He’s tried other proteins but he normally can’t get past the texture. Of course without outright just buying and going through a bunch of meal kits and likely wasting food, it’s hard to tell past reviews which ones would be good for us. So I wanted to know, for those out there with picky eaters at home what you guys did and what services worked best for y’all.

This short explains why it would make sense to have a Daima only transformation. I'm hopping Piccolo because the namekians are very attached to the demon realm. We got orange Piccolo. Hopefully we get a different one here. He was Akira Toriyama favorite character and mine too. Out of the Daima figures I only bought Piccolo, if they release another form of him I'm getting it too.

I'm sure some of you are working on game for a longer period of time. Anyone who is doing that knows how much hard work and dedication is required. Long hours of pouring over code, design, testing etc, day in and day out.
I started external playtests several weeks ago. The feedback was incredible and very useful but the best that happened is one of the playtesters reaching out to an amazing YouTube creator in my category. This led to him joining the playtest and actually posting a video about it.
Once the video dropped yesterday and I watched it I got emotional. Seeing someone playing your game like that and sharing it with his fans was such a special moment. Even some of the bad comments didn't ruin that.
So keep working hard and staying on the path. It is worth it!

Hi guys,
I‘m 7 months in in my tennis journey and so far it’s been hella fun. Playing 3 times a week, with a solo coach lesson, a clinic and usually another 1on1 with other people.
I’m thinking about buying a second racket as a backup or using my current one as a backup. My current one since October has been a speed mp legend 2023 which is the 2022 speed mp spec and I really like it so far. Got that one for 100€ in a sellout from a local shop in Vienna, which was a great price.
I heard it’s advised to have the same two rackets, which makes sense. But I’m also eyeing the 2024 version, which overall has been praised even more than the 2022, and I could get a good price for these as well, not much more expensive than what the 2022 goes for right now.
What do you think would be the best option?
- Buy the 2024 speed mp and use the 2023 legend as backup and have 2 “different” rackets
- Just buy another 2022 mp or 2023 legend and have the benefit of the exact same racket
I will try a 2 in a local shop and might consider it. In that case, it would make sense to sell my 3 and buy 2 sizes, right? Or doesn’t it really matter if my backup is a 3?
