I learned fairly recently that for the last 1.5 years I've been contributing to my Roth IRA account, but not actually investing it (was sitting in the cash and money market...)

Seeing a lot of posts in rival subs (because reddit suggests them from time to time) complaining non-stop about the Lions and their fans. Personally, I see it as a compliment. You don't care about teams that arent a threat. Who here hates the Browns, for example.

was just reading a reddit post and someone was panicking because they got a second on their degree. i’m out here barley passing getting a 3rd (tbf though. my course f’ed me over. i have other posts on that though)
i’m just wondering. how many people truly believe their life is over if they don’t get a first?
i think that all that matters is that you get your degree. i doubt they’re gonna look at what you got on your degree. as long as you got it. then it should help you find a job in that specific field or industry.
should i care about what class my degree is? is it actually important? or is it just a way to show off?

title says it all. I had my stroke at 16 I'm 28 now and have horrendous anxiety and depression. I didn't have this problem before my stroke. I'm female and my periods are 💯 horrible. mood swings and depression 10 fold.

2025.01.27 04:01 IIJOSEPHXII Changed my strategy on timed mode and posted a load of new highest scores
I started playing Solitaire on untimed mode and my objective was to complete the game and get the highest score. My strategy was to open up the columns so I had space for Kings. That meant making moves from the smallest columns first. This worked well but I hit a ceiling where my leaderboard scores were all 745 so I switched to playing timed mode.
I used the same strategy on timed mode but just tried to make the moves quicker. I posted a score in the 9000s and I was having trouble getting near it. On some games I knew I was probably going to complete the game but I knew I wasn't going to do it quick enough, so I tried a new strategy.
Instead of trying to free up the small columns I begin the game from the longest column and work towards the small ones. This opens up more consecutive moves because you don't make a free column until near the end unless you get lucky and free up one of the long columns.
You do run the risk of failing to have a move but the goal is a fast time rather than game completion so it only takes a few seconds to realise it's time to start over.

I hate where I live/ I left my beautiful townhouse in Ft Lauderdale - I’d lived there all my life- which I remodeled with top of the line granite counters and full granite backsplash and the floors were 25” no grout travertine marble. I had many newly remodeled top of the line craft Maid custom cabinets with garbage drawer, spice pullout and four Lazy Susan’s inside. And all three bathrooms were remodeled and the two spare bedrooms and the stairway were made of high end bamboo hardwood. Also I had hurricane windows throughout. I moved to Vero Beach and my house is pretty outside but inside it’s all 1988 no upgrades. We need hurricane windows too. I’m in an over 55 and it’s depressing- the people in the neighborhood aren’t friendly to me but I wish I could find at least one friend. Also in an over 55 there are ambulances in here a few times a week taking people out on stretchers. I’m one of the younger people here so it’s pretty alarming. I often feel like most of the people here could be my grandma. Anyway I doubt I’ll ever be able to get out of here- we have a really low interest rate. I just wish with all my heart that I’d never moved here. What an idiot I was. Any insights would be appreciated.
