Im not sure how to start this. I’m unsure how to navigate my negative thoughts without feeling weak to try and resolve them.
I come from a family who saids that they support mental health, but the moment you do they look down on you.
Ever since I was young. I was taught to always shove problems in the back of your mind and continue on with your day. Which on one hand it works. But a after years of doing this it feels like I’ve reached a breaking point.
I was brought into a family where the mother is extremely narcissistic and refuses to be wrong in any decision she makes. And a father who is emotionally absent. Both being horrible as being responsible with money. Grew up with constant yelling throughout the home and crying for things to be “calm and happy”.
As I grew older things didn’t necessarily get better. I just got better at understanding what was going on around me. I think what hurt the most was realizing my family was never going to be normal, let alone happy.
All I could do is calm my siblings when I can and help them with their schoolwork & wellbeing. My siblings and my friends are the ones who are keeping me sane. But even then, my siblings grow distant from me. Me and my friends barely talk.
I don’t have anyone to reach out to. When I do reach out, it’s my mom I’m going to. I’m ashamed of my friends knowing about my problems. When I try to reach out to my mom. I’m immediately given 100 reasons on how her life was worse than mine and to go back to my room.
I’m doing great in school. I’m doing great in my career. School and work life is great. I feel stupid to feel like this. I’m not ungrateful. I just want to be loved. A normal family.
(Please keep in mind my dad brought my aunt and her five kids out of nowhere from another country. (4 males and 1 female). While having 3 daughters and a son. My aunt managed to convince my grandma to take my car away(my grandma gifted it to me) for doing bad in school and nothing around the house. (all untrue btw). Police has been called. Dad has been arrested. Mom’s affairs. Dad’s lack of respect for anyone in his family. Middle sibling hating me. (Death threats and other horrible things said) and a bunch of other things I can list.
I don’t want to bottle up things anymore.

Feel free to sound off in the comments. I’ll start.
My biggest gripe with John is that he neglected Sam and Dean in the pursuit of revenge for Mary. No child should have to live on the road, in motels, and dropped off to be babysat by strangers like that. If John wanted to make hunting his mission in life, fine - but he should’ve left the children out of it. I get that he was a single father, did the best he could, and loved his sons. I’ll give him that.
But I often wondered when I was watching flashbacks of Sam and Dean as kids (ex. The Christmas episode) if the boys would have been better off in foster care. HOT TAKE. I know. What do you think?

I’m secure who leaned anxious with my FA. We have been in no contact for 3 months and it’s been almost 4 months since I was abruptly “discarded” when he got overwhelmed and withdrew. Super in love, insane chemistry and compatibility. He seemed anxious early on, constant communication, shared locations after we hung out, etc. then once he established exclusivity, it scared him and the hot/cold push/pull behavior began. I was basically broken up with for simply noticing the inconsistency and he felt bad for being that way and scared he couldn’t make me happy.
We live 4 hours away and he’s never storying anything on social media. Last night he storied he’s in my area and put the location. I liked both of his stories but have been crying all day because I cant believe he hasn’t reached out and also he never interacts with my stories even though he watches every single one and immediately opens them.
Side note- I told him happy birthday on 11/19 and he just opened the message a few days ago.
I’m not sure what to do. I love him and would do anything to hear from him.
