I need advice regarding who to ask for the letter of recommendation. I was thinking of asking a TK teacher whom I currently work alongside with. However, she is not my employer. She is a teacher, an employee at the Elementary school I work at. Would that work or should I ask a previous college professor? I have other strong components (such as a TESOL certificate) and would hate to be disqualified over something small.

I have family guy as my go to tv show and Pirates as my go to movie series. And the films are so good they over 90 min long so I can use a whole day to binge.

Loved the first Dotf books then at some point the lore and power system just became too convoluted with
- raw stats
- various different 'energies'
- dao
- bloodlines
- skills
- intent
- mental stuff
- soul stuff
- body stuff
- treasures
- technology
- curses
- various types of spirits
- grades
- classes
- etc.....
But now I have the craving again for that bizarre overpowered cultivation. Listened to dotf 13/14 and you know what, it's grown on me. Now I can switch from reading about an MC having fun making pancakes and learning a couple sword swings to an MC being attacked by a 100 legged spacefaring octopus the size of a planet with the head of an eagle whose multi-fingered punches collapse the fabric of space and release a million spinning spheres of blood and resentment into the MC's soul while manifesting a floating piece of seaweed that assaults the MC's mind (and every other being in a one lightyear radius) with condensed 'truths' about the concept of 'despair' or some shit like that.

Stephen Harper would threaten Quebec on his election campaign saying he would remove it from its autonomy and “reintegrate” it back in the “confederation”. After his win he would start to cut back on Quebec’s autonomy like increasing taxes, strengthening control in government, etc.

2025.01.27 04:31 MT-25 My advices to newcomers to Ashlands
So, you've probably already seen advices about building campfires to spawnproof areas, and I can confirm I did the same before I upgraded my gear because moving through these lands with top-tier mistlands gear was no joke. I also knew to use mistwalker cause of its ice and spirit damage. I didn't use staff of embers tol much but it's nit too bad - my native translation also doesn't help by calling it "staff of fire" - since it's not just fire but also as much of the blunt physical damage.
I played solo which made it more difficult, so here are advices I myself didn't see but would find helpful: 1) Use bonemass when you disembark from your ship to your first shore. Even just setting your first portal as quickly as possible is going to be hard with the fresh spawns adound, so you'll really need that bonemass buff to survive and clean the area. 2) When you'll get your first flametal, if there's not much (but at least 8) and you're wondering what to make from it first, here it is: make the ashen cape. It grants whole 12 additional armor which you can combine with your carapace armor set to notably lower the incoming damage. Kid you not, I've always seen this as the cape's main pro, not even its buffs. Optionally you can even combine it with other lighter armor sets/combinations, which overall is a huge help in not leaving you too vulnerable. 3) You might've already known it, but I really didn't. Frostner has got not too much of damage, but I've been at fockin 1200 days when I realized *clubs' general pro: they push enemies away. So that's something you can work with too at crowd control.
I guess that's about it. After I tried going full warrior again with 3lvl ashen cape and 2lvl flametal armor, I was flabbergasted at how much less dangerous ashlands enemies became, even including the valkyrie. So it seems - in my personal experience, of course - that full warrior with flametal gear is the best way to explore the ashlands, and not actually mage, hybrid or even something with fenris set + ask cape (that was dangerous to the point of being comedic last time I tried it).
P. S. also do tell me if I need to switch the flair to something else like "Guide"

Rewatching RotS for the umpteenth time and had this thought. If Anakin and Obi-Wan’s rescue doesn’t go as planned after Grevious abandons ship, it’s an easy assumption that the Clone Wars wouldn’t wrap up as quickly as they did without Palpatine pulling the strings. The Republic and Separatists would be down a leader during wartime, Grevious would take full(?) Separatist command without having been in kept in the loop on Dooku and Palpatine’s antics, and the Jedi would’ve lost both a member of the Council and the apparent Chosen One.
I’m not super knowledgeable on a lot of the political workings of the Prequel era, so what would we expect to happen in this scenario?

Estoy pensando en cambiar mi laptop vieja por una nueva, pero tengo una duda... ¿es muy complicado hacerle mantenimiento
Anteriormente tenía una con un Celeron y la llevaba con un "técnico de confianza" pero la última vez fue un asco su servicio (dañó mi laptop) así que quiero estar preparado para hacerlo yo mismo, no quiero arriesgar a qué vuelva a dañarla o robe algún componente (tiene fama de hacerlo).
¿Me podrían dar algunos tips? ¿Que necesito para hacerle un buen mantenimiento? Gracias!
