 | My little friend here arrived from shipment almost two weeks ago. He started out with five leaves, they have been gradually melting off… This one is starting to look weak in the stem now too. This has been grown from TC so it is not growing out of a corm, it’s just a little plantlet. I have checked and roots are healthy, so is the base, just stem & leaves not been doing well. 2025.01.27 04:41 heyjon Central heater causes hot shower water to turn cold
Moved into a townhome style apartment over a month ago. The hot water in the shower fluctuates a lot. We found that it gets better if no one else uses water in the house, but when the central heater kicks on, the water in the shower gets way colder and I have to adjust to use a lot more hot water. Both the central heater and the water heater use natural gas to generate the heat. I have no idea how a central heater for air has anything to do with the water heater except for that the fuel source is the same. Does anyone know what could cause this?

2025.01.27 04:41 Uselesswidower Loking for 20 years. Fantasy novel where boy from modern day gets transported to a fantasy world.
All I remember is that the main character goes to a party and spills someone's beer. When that person gets mad the mc kicks him in the chest (badass I know) and the kickee collapses. Our guy gets scared and runs out of the house, into a park, and into a lake to swim away. He turns around eventually but finds himself on the shores of a new world.
Eventually, he groups up with the princess and three other people. The princess has e s p powers and connects all of their minds so they can hear each other's thoughts.
Also, the main character has dreams about his current life in the modern world and finds out there is a copy of himself going around back home.
It is probably a young adult novel. Every five or six years, I do an internet dive and can't find it.
