I'm not judging. I'm just curious.
I see the commercials and the actors seem to be 99% of the time, someone I've never heard of. Rarely even comedians, to be honest.
I don't get the appeal of watching something that isn't a bunch of friends just hanging out and goofing around. Why do so many people like it? It can't be that everyone here is friends with every actor.
Am I missing something?

Long post because idkwtf is going on. When I was a kid, we had a betta in a small, vertical-style tank with no heater, no filter, an airstone, a plastic plant, and maybe one piece of ceramic hardscape. The fish NEVER had fin rot or obvious ailments and lived to old age. In contrast, I bought a blue halfmoon male betta from Petsmart last year in March. He is in a 10-gallon tank with 3 Amano shrimp and a nerite snail. A 50W Aqueon heater controlled by an Inkbird keeps the tank 78-80 degrees. I have two Aquarium Co-op course sponge filters, size nano, stacked, with a Ziss never-clog airstone, powered by a very quiet Hygger 5W adjustable air pump. The tank has an Aqueon glass lid and light. I have a gravel bottom with numerous rhizome plants and natural materials- bamboo stick, coconut bridge, mopani wood, catappa leaves, cones, etc. I have resting spots near the surface- a wood ledge, a “peak-a-boo” tunnel from Etsy, a ZooMed floating betta log, Anubias plants suctioned cupped to the tank walls, etc. Everytime I have tested my water parameters with the API master test kit, ammonia and nitrite are 0ppm and nitrates are low, ~5ppm. PH is around 7.4. I have well water from a regulated public water system. The wells are in a very high quality, deep aquifer confined by rock. I believe the utility won best-tasting water in the state recently. All they do is add chlorine. I checked the annual report, and there were no regulatory infractions last year. Ultimately, I have a low bioload tank with a decent number of rhizome plants (~6). No algae problems. The only pests are occasional detritus worms and teeny tiny water bugs. All my plants were bought as pest-free from Petsmart or Petco or otherwise dipped in alum. I did have some gold-ringed danios then some green tetras, both of which I returned to my LFS awhile ago due to fin nipping. Maybe they brought an illness in? My Amanos and nerite are from my LFS. I believe the Amanos are wild caught. My shrimp and snail are thriving! My Amano shrimp larvae even hatch! And my betta eats them when they do. Yet, my betta is constantly sick! He will get fin rot, bloat, swim bladder issues, labored breathing, and spit out food / not eat. Normally, I feed him 4-5 Xtreme betta pellets daily. I have treated the tank in the past with the Aquarium Co-op quarantine medication trio of Ich-X, Paracleanse, and Maracyn. Now, I’m trying the Shotgun approach from Aquarium Science (https://aquariumscience.org/index.php/12-10-the-shotgun-approach/). He seemed to be getting better from eating 2-weeks of food medicated with Kanaplex and Metro. During this time, I also put in a Mini Green Killing Machine UV light to try to eradicate any harmful bacteria in the water. I ran it 24/7 for a few days. Then, I put it on a timer to run 15 minutes of every hour during daylight. I put flow on low and baffled it. He seemed to be recovering and doing well. Then, as soon as I stopped the medicated food, within 24 hours, nearly a quarter of his fins had somehow melted off! Now, I’ve got him in a bare-bottom, small, shallow hospital tank with heater and air stone. I have been dosing the water with Kanaplex and aquarium salt and changing 100% water every 2 days. I am also giving him half-hour salt baths daily, which he tolerates well and in the past helped his fin rot. I use 1 teaspoon API aquarium salt in ~16 ounces of fresh, warm, dechlorinated water. The fin melting seems to have stopped, thank God. He is not eating yet even though I am offering him frozen brine shrimp. Once he starts eating, I will try to continue feeding him pellets or brine shrimp with Kanaplex and Metro and once weekly food with PraziPro and Expel-P, ie Shotgun approach. The only pattern I notice is he often seems to get sick AFTER I return from a vacation. He is not being over fed though. I usually do a thorough cleaning with gravel vac before leaving. Perhaps heavy cleanings are stirring up bacteria into the water column? Or he has been sick the whole time and the ailment reappears whenever he is stressed? Thanks to Aquarium Science, I did realize I was cleaning the filter too much by squeezing out the brown gunk each month. I recently doubled up the sponge filter and am letting it re-accumulate gunk. I just cannot believe how stressful and exasperating this is! I just want my little guy to be happy and healthy, not miserable. Like, f*ck! I’m doing this daily feelings journal thing this year. Stressful things I have written about: longterm unemployment and disability, surgeries, financial hardship, SSDI application, mental health shit, recent car accident, BETTA FISH. ARGHHHHH Photo: I rearranged the tank slightly to accommodate the UV device, stacked another sponge, and added two additional anubias plants suction cupped onto the glass walls. I want to do a Roth conversion with my traditional IRA, but that means backtracking to make sure none of my contributions were deductible. Trouble is, I'm not sure how to tell.
2016-2020, I had a TSP but I'm not sure whether the contributions were nondeductible. Looking at my tax returns from those years, "IRA deductions" line is blank. There's a form 8880 (tax savers)- line 12 is blank as well so it seems I wasn't able to take the tax credit. So far, nondeductible it seems.
2020, I set up a traditional IRA and transferred the money from TSP into it. I didnt make any contributions to it until 2022.
2022, I put in $1000. Tax return line for "IRA deductions" is blank.
Is it safe to assume that all my contributions so far, from TSP fund transfer, to the $1k in 2022 have been nondeductible? I won't trigger a pro rata? What's a surefire way to check the TSP contributions?

Hello I’m a hobby photographer of about 2 years who also loves to thrift when I can. I’ve always looked at cameras when I go out but never thought of buying one. After watching some YouTube videos over camera thrifting the past week I decided I would keep my eye out for anything. I have no knowledge of vintage cameras or what to even look out for. But it was just fun looking and finding something. I ended up finding the canon AE-1 for $40 at a thrift store and figured I would grab it. Same day I contacted my mom and asked about some cameras she said my father had in the attic. Went and found the box and it contained all the remaining pictured cameras! I have no intention in selling these, but I looked online and saw some of these might be kinda cool (depending on functionality, otherwise they will still be cool pieces for my new collection) The body’s seems in pretty good shape (besides the small Pentax) the lens glass for sure looks a bit rough on a few of them. (There was a hand full of lens’s and filters thrown throughout the bag) Besides the dust and dirt, I was wondering if any of you who have some actual knowledge might know of any of these are notable. I’m not hoping I scored some rare one of a kinda piece, just curious about these cameras. I shoot with an R8 but am wanting a fun film side piece to have to play around with. Would any of these be more worth it to get going before the others? Y'know incels?, then I might as well be a Volcel, seriously, I'm not scared of women I don't look bad I'm fit and I have a job, and people here think that my autistic traits are a bit "quirky" yet charismatic.
Yet whenever I feel or notice that a woman might like me I become horribly afraid internally, even if she's ugly.
I hear my NT friends talk about women and how they get and not get em and inceldom and blah blah blah.
I have gathered a reputation here for being fully unafraid of talking to pretty women, they ask me how I do it and I say "I just don't care", because I feel unable to see people as potential partners, even physically.
I am so scared of having a relationship with someone that whenever a girl feels like a potential partner I just fully stop talking to them.
Could you guys cook up any theories on why I could feel like this?, I believe the divorce of my parents has something to do with it.

I need earbuds that stay on with heavy movement but that don't have a hook (not super necessary but I use glasses and it'd be uncomfortable and dangerous to sleep with since they break), that the microphones/outlets(?)/audio output itself don't get clogged/dirty super easily and noise cancellation with an app to customize sound stuff and be waterproof. additionally but not necessary: they should have some sort of finding feature just in case
I haven't found any that fit these requirements except for some really good, hooked ones but that's where the hook issue came in, it broke a lot while/when I slept, not sure how ofc, but it did, the main issue with clogging is my ears making more wax BECAUSE of the earbuds and pushing them in so they don't fall gets the earwax in the "speaker"
