I had to register for a summer camp today unexpectedly, but I had budgeted for in Feb. Camp registration opened a few days earlier than I expected. I’ll get paid in a few days so I’ll be able to pay for my CC no problem, but how do I handle the negative overage today/ as I rollover to Feb? Unassign cash set aside for my Feb CC payment and reassign that cash after Feb 1? Something else?

2025.01.29 02:39 pinecone_99_ Mysterious issue with Kenmore 158.1516
I have a Kenmore 1516 that sat idle for many years. A year ago I cleaned/oiled everything per the manual and have been using it successfully. Recently it sat idle again for a couple months and suddenly when I tried to use it today, something is not right. The handwheel feels very stiff and it will only sew at slow speed. Here are things I've tried:
- re-threaded multiple times, tried new thread
- checked belt
- removed/checked needle and shuttle assembly
- removed/checked clutch knob
- wound a new bobbin - this works normally
- re-oiled per manual, visual inspection of internals
- feed dog position has no effect
- especially stiff every 180° turn of hand wheel
- hand wheel feels the same with belt removed
