Hello,
I usually get freaked out flying over the ocean, but have been reassuree by people saying how the plane can cruise to the nearest airport if needed (if the engines fail).
The distance between New Zealand and Australia is about 3.5 hours with not much in between - what happens if something happens midway? Isn't the plane too far from land?

Hello,
Disclaimer: I'm a noob
I am trying to setup 4 SAS drives through a LSI-9211-8i that is supposed to be in IT mode already (According to Ebay). My board is an ASUS prime z450-A. I am in a SFFPC case so I have to use a PCIE riser. I have tried it in every PCIE slot on the board with two different risers and in the shell when I use sas2flash it says that no LSI card is recognized. The lights on the LSI card come on with the computer. In one of the slots the terminal gives a physical PCI error.
Any ideas? Any help is super appreciated. I may just cut my losses on this stuff and switch to SATA drives.

Lately when I watch movies where the tension builds up I can’t help but go and read the plot summary on wikipedia and ruin it for myself. I start to feel kind of anxious I guess and when I see how long is left until the movie ends and everything gets resolved I can’t bear waiting that long. It started with reading the plot summaries of horror movies I saw clips of, since I know I won’t ever watch the movie anyway. That kind of progressed into skimming the plot summary just to be prepared for any jump scares. Big respect for those that like horror movies but since I was a kid I just can’t put the images out of my mind when I try to go to sleep. Now though it’s gone beyond horror movies to just any tension where I don’t know where the movie will go, recently I watched the killing of a sacred deer and juror #2 and had to look it up. I wish I didn’t and I tried not to but it was just like I couldn’t take the tension which feels ridiculous to say. I guess I’m fairly empathetic but is that what this is? Or is this anxiety (I never really never really dealt with it as a teenager so idk)? I don’t necessarily care about the cause but maybe then I know how to get over it better because i definitely want to be able to watch a legal movie without the tension overwhelming me. Any advice is appreciated lol, I feel like this is quite ridiculous!

2025.01.29 02:54 No_Tomato4631 Efficiency check after a year
 | I reset trip one as soon as I left the dealer lot, it had ~15 miles on the odometer and after a year and 12,800+ I'm hitting the estimated 2.4 mi/kWh. After 10k miles the trip rolls back to zero, but the timer and efficiency seem to be in tact. Full transparency, I reset trip 2 (second picture) the first day of winter Dec 21 and the colder temps lower the efficiency for sure but not as much as I would have expected. I'm in Massachusetts where the temperatures in winter are often in the single digits and was down to -9 last week. 2023 XLT extended range (before the heat pumps were available) Daily commute is through the suburbs mainly traveling 50-55mph. The way in to work is slightly down hill where I average 3.2mi/kWh and the way back is typically 2.2 mi/kWh. When temps drop below ~20 degrees that drops to about 2.8 and 1.8 My tires are typically at the recommend 42psi but I've seen them drop by 5psi on the coldest days. I notice a huge hit on the efficiency when the heat is on, so when it's above freezing I rely solely on the heated seats (that get blazing hot on full) and the heated steering wheel. I almost never set a departure time, but I remote start between 5 and 10 minutes before heading out when it's below freezing. I had the Ford charge station pro professionaly installed with a 100amp breaker and routinely see 16.2 kWh rate of charge. You can enter your price of electricity and it will show how much you've spent on charging for the week, month, or year. I calculated it sometime back when it was warmer and I was getting something like 1,500 miles of range per $100 dollars in electricity. Significantly cheaper than any gas vehicle I've owned. It's also worth pointing out that I keep it plugged in at home during the winter but there's no option to charge at work so it sits outside in the cold for 8.5 hours 5 days a week. In the spring/summefall I only plug it in once every 3 or so days when the battery drops below 50%. In the fall, with temps hovering around 70, I charged it up to 100% and got to 324 miles at 9% battery before I charged it. The power level still appeared in the high 80s but I was nervous that Murphy's law would kick in so I plugged it back in. I assume I would have easily hit 350 miles or more if I kept driving. For anyone that made it this far, I'm curious if others are able to get better efficiency, and what they do to achieve it? I don’t understand something and please keep in mind I’m new to trading cards and stuff. But what I don’t get is how is it that there’s packs going for up to $500 plus yet the same packs are being sold by Walmart, target, and the Pokémon company themselves for like $4? Like everytime I go to one of the stores the booster packs and other boxes are priced normally yet people sell them for a ridiculous amount online? If the packs people sell like that are truly worth as much as y’all say they’re worth, then why aren’t the companies selling them for that much? If they know their packs are worth hundreds if not thousands, why sell them for like 4$ a booster pack?
