My stbx just confronted me about my being distant. I told him the truth, all of it. I told him that I still love him and care about him, but that I couldn't be in this relationship anymore. I started laying out all my reasons, he tried once to start guilt tripping me, but I shut it down immediately.
He heard me out the rest of the way and asked what he could do to fix it. I said, "nothing. I begged, pleaded, and asked for so long, I gave up hoping. When you complain about cleaning up after the kids I want to SCREAM because I do LITERALLY everything else. You've been out of work for 5 months and I still do EVERYTHING. I won't be able to trust that the entire load of responsibility won't end up right back on my shoulders. I realized that if I had to do it all alone, I'd be happier being alone. That, on top of the way you've treated the kids, I see no future for us."
For the first time, I wasn't being mealy-mouthed and actually said how I feel, how much I was hurting, and that it was over. No beating around the bush. I'm usually such a doormat, I spare everyone's feelings but my own. I guess everyone has their breaking point.
All I asked of him was to stay civil. I know he probably hates me right now, but no matter what, we have kids to raise. I want to do the kids' birthdays, trick or treating, etc together. I want him to have the best relationship possible with them. I told him I would still be there for him, but I just couldn't be in a marriage with no support.
I refuse to be a "bitch of an ex-wife" that "keeps the kids from him". I will make it as easy as I can for him to have them whenever he wants to see them. I will never drag his name to them, he will be their daddy forever. My mother denied me that, and I've never forgiven her. If he stops seeing them, it will be his decision.
I will be calling an attorney tomorrow to get the legal separation rolling. We're going to have to list our house bc neither of us would be able to afford refinancing to pay the other out. Before any big changes, we need to sit the kids down and explain it to them. I think that's going to be the hardest thing I've ever done.
If you've had to have that convo with your kids, I would appreciate any advice you can give.

Funny how many people decide they know everything there is to k ow about SDs, program vs owner training and why they think there should be a US registration requirement having done absolutely no research into the subject.
I’m honestly exhausted from trying to explain without getting pissy and/or visibly frustrated, and I’m entirely out of spoons to be honest. Makes things even worse the job market has been shit since 2015 and only gotten worse since covid, and as I hear there's bird flu and a TB outbreak in Montana - WHY DID YOU PEOPLE VOTE FOR THIS MAN! But the number of those unemployed was 6.886 million when Biden was in office - bet that has risen to 8 million or more and we'll likely never know since Trump fired everyone that reveals that type of information, and since he removed DEI and what not, let alone allow companies to focus on hiring friends and family members or just those they like for the color of their skin and not a female.
We're literally in the 1920 I hope your happy MAGA cause its about to cost you everything, as your jobs will be replace by AI and we won't have MONEY in your pockets hope it was worth it!!!
Makes things even more of an insult is the situation that I am in, living with family for the past few years since I lost my job back in 2020 and survived off working odd jobs and self employment, and even that's dried up, I couldn't find work not even at walmart, family dollar, hell I couldn't find work even as a pooper scupper in the dog park if I wanted to, the job market has gotten so bad, it's either your making money and losing money off the stock and crypto market getting rugged pulled every 2 days, or you're a Elon Musk bootlicker faking your wealth.
Well deporting all the Latin and no Latin immigrants sure didn't help, because no one's willing to pay anyone higher than $6.50 to $10.00 and hour and rent is nearly $2000 a month and food prices are on the rise in most places and yes I checked, it's that bad.

Have this 🥱nonchalant attitude towards your hardship as Trump cuts off your gov assistance and says:

I am a male in my mid thirties and had HS for about 10 years now. Been to 6-7 dermos and some suggested Humira but I did not want to inject myself (fear of needles). So as a trial my recent dermatologist recommended I start sotyktu (psoriasis medication) and it has SIGNIFICANTLY reduced my HS flare ups, boils, bleeding, puss….talk to your dermos! my side effect was week one headaches and lightheaded and now just cystic acne which treated with Benzol Peroxide 10% scrub (prescribed) and Clindamycin gel! I still clean my HS areas with hibiclens in the shower. But I bought new shirts as I haven’t had any blood or puss in 6 months coming from my boils. I really hope this helps others because HS sucks and this medication has been amazing for me.

When I was getting pierced, my piercer had asked if I planned on changing to rings and I said no, thinking I’d want to keep studs forever. I do like the way they look but the idea of rings seems a bit more interesting. I’m aware you can’t really switch back and forth between these specific piercings since the hole closes really fast… and also very expensive. If they can’t be changed though, that’s okay.
