I mostly just wondering if anyone else has this mindset. I’ve had treatment on and off for nearly 5 years now and the first two of those it was mostly chemo I was having. Since then it hasn’t been mentioned as an options until recently when it was brought up. I was really panicking about having it again because I hated it last time. Today I found out I will only need radiotherapy and I was over the moon. Everyone else in that clinic room found it really bizarre how happy I was so I’m mostly just wondering if it’s just me who is fine with anything except chemo

How do these x-rays look? I went to a new dentist and they told me nothing. I’ve had extreme pain on the bottom right jaw after my wisdom tooth surgery, my whole bottom of my face was numb on the right side for five months now I have sensation back and it throbs badly. Dentist will not tell me what this could be nor the surgeon who performed the surgery. I recently got my upper back left molar out after it broke up into the gum. I would like another opinion before I figure out what to do and spend thousands out of pocket. My teeth have always not been good (my old dentist said it’s genetic since my whole family has no enamel on our teeth essentially and I have GERD). But I would like some new eyes on my xRays please. Thank you!!

Hi everyone!
I'm on day 4 today after telling my fiancé I was ready for some accountability. She's extremely supportive, non judgmental and I am eternally grateful for that. This is not the first time I've dried out, probably my 4th or 5th attempt in the last year. Each time I get to about 5 days (usually up to the weekend) and I'm buying a 6 pack and whiskey or bottle of wine (maybe a box). It the weekend, right?
Not this time. After a birthday bender weekend last week, I vowed that it was time to dry out. I am tired of alcohol controlling my life, my mood, my health.
The first three days were as expected, a little tough. I was edgy with some mood swings. Yesterday in particular I was just in a "quiet" mood, low energy, low vibration. I went to bed early last night and slept HARD. Woke up really tired this morning, but not hungover.
My favorite part of this journey is not waking up feeling like shit the next day. It's motivating enough just in that aspect. And I am so ready to continue this journey further.
I am grateful for my life, my future wife, and this sub for all of your support for every post I've read over the last handful of months.
I'm ready to take charge. IWNDWYT!

As many of us know the Lost Coast Outpost is a far left echo chamber when it comes to the comments section of their articles. I first noticed during the pandemic that any comment questioning anything different than what they were promoting was permanently banned from commenting. Then, during the election any comment/commentator that was not aligned with their far left policies was permanently banned. I understand that LOCO is owned privately by a local man and that the comment section is monitored/controlled by a far left leaning company based out of SF.
I am concerned that this publication, that has the longest reach on the north coast when it comes to news is not serving its community ethically or truthfully. Why would LOCO feel such a need and also put out so much effort into suppressing all of our community voices that challenge what they are pushing. If they are forthright and truthful while being led by moral integrity why would they be so afraid to let people speak freely on the topics that they publish freely to our community?

I don't remember all details of the movie but I know that the General only realised it was Loid when a shot from his gun grazed the side of his head, revealing his hair. Then Loid took off his mask and obviously the General had recognised him. But did he know that Loid was actually Twilight, an agent of WISE? I don't think the General knew this.

 You might get confused by that title as to what I am looking for. I as DM was bored with my players wandering around aimlessly.
Not engaging, talking everything out with every monstrosity.
I have two questions. I made and mistake. Now I have had to work hard to undo it. How can I remedy it next time?
What mistake have you made, thinking you were bringing in a solution? ( How did you change your approach? )
I had a gathering of wizards throw fireballs at them from maximum range. Now one of them just drags the whole party into what amounts to total slaughter. Most times, key hostiles will escape because every player is focused on the main melee. Things have greatly degenerated.
What is a strong way to engage and hook the campaign group into combat without turning them into disorganized murder-hobos?
What fix DID YOU TRY TO USE that totally screwed your game, and how did you fix that by doing it better the next time?

Hi guys, I’ve been doing the 5:2 method for about a month now and I’ve seen some results. I’m looking slimmer and my stomach and back fat seem to be shrinking somewhat. I am considering doing a constant rolling 48 every week, but there isn’t a lot of info online about it that I’ve found so far. I know people do it, so what is your experience with it?
My goal is to shrink my stomach, lose all the extra torso and belly fat, while retaining as much muscle mass as possible as I like to lift weights and I’m going for the muscular look as opposed to the skinny look
I’m around 280 at 6’2, I’m muscular but I have too much fat and my belly is sort of large because I think I’m going too high on portion size. I do not count calories which may be how I got here in the first place. I am sure I eat too much portion wise when I eat. But I’m wondering if the rolling 48 could remedy this problem without worrying about getting scientific with my calories and weighing out every little thing I put in my mouth
I do eat pretty clean btw. Mostly organic everything- beef, chicken, a few eggs per week, a fruit and protein powder smoothie once a day, lots of peanut butter and almonds, yoghurt, honey, white rice, and a fair amount of avacado/olive/sesame oil to cook my meat and pour over my rice. I think my diet is decent as far as what I’m actually eating, I just don’t count calories and fats and never have. I also somewhat lack on veggies although I’m always trying to improve that
So basically I’m wondering how much will a rolling 48 weekly improve my health and weight and also just any general info on if it’s a good idea to do this every single week. All opinions are welcome thanks

On January 13th I had my first interview for a role I applied to and it went GREAT. I noticed that it was going well because they couldn’t stop looking at each other and nodding every single time, plus I asked some questions that I thought they were great… and then, on January 22nd, I receive an email saying that they were thrilled they enjoyed meeting me the other day and that I was onto the 2nd and final phase of the process, and I would be meeting their superior.
It was a 30 minute call and I also felt great. It was a conversation and I also asked some things, the person even asked how far was I from work and what was the soonest I could join the team. Before hanging up, she told me that this week (this call was on Jan. 24th) they should have a definitive answer. Same thing I was told in my first interview.
Now, I know the week has not ended yet, but is it normal that I may sense that they forgot about me? I may be overreacting but I’d really like to get this position. I’ll be sending an email next Tuesday if I haven’t heard anything but I sense that they forgot about me.
