I hate my robotics team, so much, cause of two people. Jacob and this bitch in her 30s, Nikki. Honestly Nicki is the meanest person I have ever met. There's a reason she's in her 30s, with no friends or boyfriend or anything, she's a bitch. She yelled at me yesterday because me and my friend were waiting for our 3d printed parts to print, so we could attach them to our robot. So we started talking about science class, when Nikki yells at us to stop goofing off and says, if you aren't going to do anything, then I don't want you on this team, so I told her we were talking about science and she said to stop and look at the robot, which was just sitting there, not doing anything at all, so we did for about 1 second and got bored. So we started talking about science again she told me, she was going to kick me off the team because I'm a worthless highschooler that does nothing, keep in mind I built the 6-7th graders robot chasis for them, built half the field, half the robot, and was building our lift. So I told her to stop being a bitch, and that if she didn't wanna deal with kids, she could stop being a robotics mentor. So now I'm looking at a 3 day school, and robotics suspension. When our school hates our robotics team. Thankfully though, I don't have to go to robotics for 3 days. But why do we tell the judges that our team encourages steam. When we get yelled at for talking about the first letter, SCIENCE, YOU KNOW THE THING THAT IS A CRUCIAL PART OF ROBOTICS AND OUR SOCIETY. STEAM MY ASS, ALL NIKKI SUPPORTS IS HER FUCKING SELF.

I’m bummed, but I hope they have open positions later this year after the freeze even if it means I have to go into the office. Hahaha so I hope they have an office near where I live.

So I have read a lot about magnesium affecting the ketamine trip, and boy howdy. They were right! The first time, I took the magnesium at the same time as I took my troche, and it definitely made it more intense. Also, it lasted longer. The second time, I took it an hour before and had the same results.the effects lasted hours longer than before. Like, I don’t feel safe to drive but I’m not actively dissociating. It’s weird. Definitely works!

2025.01.30 22:01 E-M5021 Insurance denied prior authorization.. options?
I recently got diagnosed last month and I was prescribed with the vyvanse generic and it worked very well. My insurance had no problem letting me run the generic the first month, then decided they wanted prior authorization the next month. Yesterday they told me prior authorization was denied… so I feel lost. My psychiatrist told me they can try to prescribe me with the actual vyvanse just to see if they’ll deny that too, but she’s confident that they will, and says she’d immediately put me on concerta instead. I looked up on reddit how people feel about concerta and I really see a lot of negative views on the med.. and I’d really prefer to stay on vyvanse as I have found the most success with it. Started uni this year and had a really bad semester, but as I am being medicated now I’m having a very strong start this semester. I really don’t want to ruin this privilege that I have, any insight anyone? Sorry for the rant
TLDR: insurer denied vyvanse generic prior authorization, but I find vyvanse to be very effective. looking for tips.

In the italian series of Star Trek, the greeting of the vulcan Spok is translated as "long life and prosperity" (lunga vita e prosperità), instead of "long life and prosper" (lunga vita e prospera). Where prosper is an adjective for life, while prosperity is a noun.
I know this group Is Italian and maybe I should ask the question in English, But I fear it becomes a comparison of translations in various languages.So let me put it here.
Maybe because I've always heard it (in italian) translated as a noun, if it were translated correctly (as adjective), the sentence would sound strange to me. It seems to me that even in English we prefer to use nouns in sentences like these.
So, to English speakers: Spok is formally an alien, but doesn't the phrase "live long and prosper" seem strange to you? Or is it just my conditioning/habit?
