2025.01.30 14:50 Gopiandcoshow Received power bill for period before my rental started? (University Group)
I recently signed a lease with university group from Jan 10th 2025 to August.
I was going to pay my first monthly rental payment this morning, and I realised an additional cost of $172.17 had been added onto my account with the item description "power bill 11/25/2024 to 12/29/2024 no ua", which is a period before my contract even began (my contract does not include the cost of power, and I have set up and already paid my monthly ameren electricity bill for the unit for january).
I am going to call them up and ask about it, but if they say I have to pay, is there something I can do? are there any particular clauses I should look out for in my contract that meant I have to pay these fees from before my contract even started?

2025.01.30 14:50 imcarbadger Deleted xbmc4gamers from Xbox. Now Xbox boots to blank screen.
I downloaded the newer version of xbmc4gamers since the current one on the Xbox missed the window and I couldn't connect to the internet to update it. I had to boot from the old version to the new one and figured if I deleted the old version, it would boot to the new version. Nope! Now the Xbox boots to a blank screen and I can't ftp to the Xbox anymore. I've heard I can get a boot recovery disc and load that or remove the hard drive and get an adapter to connect it to my computer and ftp that way. Can someone just send me the recovery disc? Lol or can I send someone my hard drive to load it back on?

Can’t tell you how many games I’ve WON and been consistently flamed because my stats look something like this 7-3-0 for a whole game. Guess what? Eliminations aren’t my job or my priority, at all. I’m moving too fast and trying to do too much to finish kills, my job is to be everywhere all at once and to annoy the living FUCK out the enemy team and I’m damn good at it. See those 3 deaths? For a whole game? See your 6/7/8 deaths? That means I was out there putting in work, holding down the point, keeping folks busy for probably over 90 seconds total where yoy were doing NOTHING. Guess what? That is incredibly valueable and the entire concept of Caps character! It doesn’t actually bother me on a personal level, it’s just more the ignorance that bugs me. Like how do you not get it, look past the stats.

This came to my mind because recently Candace Owens (no lets not start debating her please) interviewd the nigerian brothers who were hired by Smollet to do the hate crime. To this day Smollet has not publicly acknowledged wrongdoing. I feel like an impassioned plea about his fragile mental state that led to such a crazy decision would've gone a long way in rehabilitating his reputation. But you're the lawyers, what say you?

Hello. I’m looking for experience & feedback from those who stopped using prescription pain meds & now use Kratom… Mt Pain Management Dr is a %#$&. I’m tired of making that guy rich while I go broke… He 100% has shown he doesn’t care & just checking boxes to get paid & cover his butt…
I have legit serious back issues & am on 30mg pharma percs , lyrica, etc… daily. My pain isn’t going away & every doc has said it will get just worse with time…. About 1/2 the days I can manage with otc meds until bedtime = The pain, spasms, and tingling keep me up all night without meds 😒
anyone use Kratom successfully to get off meds? Pros, cons, experience?

Hi everyone! I’m a beginner runnejogger. I joined a jogging class in my college and I get assignments every sunday. The class is fun and it is getting me active! but i’m a little insecure about my pace when running, it’s my third official run and i’ve slowed down so much since my first and compared to my classmates i am so slow.
My first run came out to 18:54/mi in Strava with my second one being the same exact time too, I just finished my third one with a pace of 19:04/ mi. I’m somehow getting slower every time i run and it’s making me scared i’m going to fail the class with my professor thinking i’m not even trying. So does anyone have any tips on how to speed up/shorten my pace? My classmates are completing a mile in 10 minutes while it takes me 20 in total :(
