2025.01.30 22:00 East_Call_3739 My (f 17) dad just said he doesn't want me. Or my family. And that we burden him. I said something stupid in return. Can things go back to normal?
You know how expectations can be. Ge said he had to have a family and so he did. He doesn't like us though, he keeps saying so. Aleays remining us how happy he was alone, how inexpensive that live was. He was the one who wanted yo relocate to a different country but he doesn't like us being here.
And when he said shit like this again, I asked him why. Why stay and complain and fight. Every fuxking day. I didn't yell, I asked. He got mad and said why I stay with him. And I started sobbing- I ahev never cried in front of him before.
He is really mad. My mum agrees with me but she is emotionally distant. She lectured me about fighting with my dad. She said being stupid is in his nature and tyat I shouldn't try and change him lol.
I don't know what to do anymore. I have to stay here for another 5 years. I have a younger sibling to take care of aswell.

2025.01.30 22:00 benasyoulikeit Lego Star Wars TCS Lightsaber glitch
I've been encountering a glitch where after playing TCS a while, the B button stops working for normal lightsaber swings. Everything else in the game that requires the B button (shooting blasters, punching, using droid panels, backing out of menus, air lightsaber attacks) works, just not light saber swinging. It's okay for the most part because most of the time you can get away with just air attacks, but for the few times you need to deflect blaster bolts it's annoying. Only fix I have found so far is resetting the game until it works again. Any other fixes out there?

2025.01.30 22:00 perfect_28 post-triangle problem ... no courses are downloaded (FR 255)
I went through the tedious Factory Reset process & my 255 is largely ok. Issue I have is that I can't get my 'old' courses onto the watch. They are on Strava with the red star next to them, which normally would mean they would appear on my watch without any bother. However, connecting to Garmin Express and doing a Sync (or two!) doesn't seem to get any results. Any thoughts about how to get them downloaded? Thanks

Hello guys! I usually use yarn I love to knit sweaters, but I have this cute and full of errors cabled sweater I have a hard time wearing (because of the mohair), I think it looks nice. I was getting back into knitting after 10 years of abstinence and I did not want to waste yarn, so I bought the cheap stuff. Ooops.
My grandma used to condition her sweaters, so I knit a little cable pattern and used a bit of conditioner. I let it sit for maybe 20 minutes? Then, I rinsed with cold water. It did not work as well as I thought it would. Note : it’s not dry yet. (Also, how comes no one talks of the terrible smell of blocking?)
Do you have any tricks you use or products? I don’t want to use hot water because there’s wool in my yarn (drops sky + drops kidsilk)
What’s your conditioning recipe or tricks you use to make a sweater more wearable?
I’d like to be able to wear it (without a long sleeve tee underneath).

One DPS picked Wanda to activate the collab
He then started feeding a Lot
I said "If you dont know how to play Wanda, you may change character, no need for the collab"
He started insulting me, even if I said the previous line in a polite way
We lose
Another Ranked
The Wanda goes to the opponent team
After the 1st round(I was playing Rocket and we Lost), the Wanda(now stomping the game as Bucky) starts insulting me in the match chat and saying that i should know how to play Rocket(I wasn't even that bad, not even my team was complaining about me)
Entire match then bullshits me in chat(even my own team)

Aside from her being easily the funniest character on the show, she’s also the most complex. It’s too many people focused on her shortcomings as a mother, and not enough noticing her relentless struggle with vulnerability and emotional connection. She loves her children to death, she did anything she knew how to to keep them out of harms way, but she never allowed herself to show them how much she loves them. She would rather hurt them than develop a connection she could potentially lose. Right up to when she leaves the prison, she strictly tells Daya to not cry when it’s clear she’s tearing up as well. The episode when she took Daya to the summer camp made me feel for the both of them so much. Daya didn’t want to go to the camp and Aleida didn’t want to let her go, as evidenced by her crying in the car after dropping her off, but knew it could potentially be a life changing opportunity for Daya, so she hurt her to get her to let go of her. It’s clear to me she’s always wanted better for her children than she had for herself, but was also too traumatized to show them how much she cares. Anyways, I’ve just never understood the hate Aleida gets for being "the worst person ever" when she’s arguably one of the realest people in that prison. She’s an emotionally neglectful mother who did her best

 | My home is in California and was built in 1968. Recently I had a pinhole leak behind the wall and had to gut my bathrooms. Before the leak my shower would get hot when the toilet is flushed and the other would get cold if the other bathroom shower is on. I hear this is common in older homes. My questions are: Is there a way to seperate each bathroom so that if one is used it won't affect the other? If so is it possible to do it from here (pictures)? Since my bathroom is gutted, any recommendations on things I should do to the plumbing? I want to take advantage while everything is easy to access. So, I was reading this article about how parents can create their own children’s storybooks without needing any writing or illustrating skills, and I had a few ideas that I thought might be useful to share.
