Hey folks. I’ve owned a rental property in Ontario for a few years now - it was a new build when I purchased it. I got hit with supplementary tax bills at the end of 2024 (for years 2022, 2023 and 2024 all at once).
I’ve since reached out to the city for a payment plan and am now paying it off monthly (over the next 12 months).
Am I able to deduct the total amount of the supplementary property taxes on my 2024 return? Or only the amount I’ve actually paid towards it in 2024?

so, to start, i’ve literally never gotten bloodwork done or really gone to the doctor for anything, but my doc told me to go and get my bloodwork done before we could confirm if i was able to go onto birth control. so i did.
without realizing that being sick would change the results. i’m not super sick, just a small sniffle but now im super worried i got a needle shoved in my arm for nothing
ive searched it up and tried to find anything, but will my results still be usable? I really don’t wanna get poked again

Ok, this is going to be long.
This is an AU concept I have been thinking about for quite a while, and if it gets good feedback and approval, I might start updating it with art, as well as answering to any questions in the comment section.

As you all know, Maria suffers from an incurable sickness. More specifically, an immune system sickness.
Well, in this, Maria's condition is especially agressive, and is pretty much threatening her life. Gerald is desperate, and is willing to do literally anything to save his granddaughter.
In order to save her, he made Project Shadow with a different focus. He made the Ultimate Life Form... So he and his team of scientists could use him as an extra resistant guinea pig.
Shadow would be subjected to multiple experiments. Said experiments involve him getting similar sicknesses being tested on his system, just to see how would they progress in his organism and how do they affect him. Even if the sicknesses are fatal, due to his nature, Shadow can't actually die of them nor any natural cause. Once he reached a critical point, he'd have a test antidote being tested on. If it works and he gets cured, that means the treatment is safe to use it on Maria.
Gerald just had two rules: Never let Maria know of Shadow's existence... And never kill Shadow.
However, Maria found Shadow anyway.
Shadow initially resented both Gerald and Maria. Gerald was the one behind the experiments, and Maria was the reason he was being treated like this in the first place. Until he realized he didn't despise her. She was just a child, and none of them chose to be in their situation. He eventually got attached to her, and they became besties in secret.
If Maria's condition gets worse, to the point it's critical or terminal, Gerald would execute the operation he calls the "Last Resort". Said last resort consists of breaking his second rule by killing Shadow off, then transplanting his heart, lungs, kidneys and other healthy organs on Maria so she can live.

Here are some of the planned endings:
- Maria gets shot, and Shadow develops even more PTSD from both her death and from realizing all his suffering was in vain. He escapes the ARK and spends 50 years of non-verbal trauma, until it hits him that he must take revenge.
- Maria dies of the sickness anyway, and Shadow escapes the ARK so the goverment won't use him for more experiments.
- Maria gets his organs transplanted, but doesn't survive the trasplant.
- Maria survives the trasplant, gets cured, and becomes a mutant, immortal human: With the looks of a human, but the heart and other organs and powers of the Ultimate form of life. After that, she takes Shadow's role in the games. She will occasionally have visions of Shadow guiding her like a guardian angel.

We’re using points so unfortunately can’t enjoy one of the amazing-looking independent hotels…. I’ve read great things about the Hampton Inn. But am also super curious about the Hotel de Novo. Looks like it’s newly renovated, which I love. But there aren’t photos anywhere of the 2-queen rooms. Also I’m wondering how inconvenient the further-from-town location would be… enough to make a difference? Thanks for any thoughts?

I am passionate about pursuing a career in children’s nursing and have gained relevant experience through working in youth clubs, healthcare settings, and volunteering with children. I believe my background in health and social care, combined with my undergraduate studies, has given me the foundational knowledge needed to succeed in the program.
However, I am unsure if my Functional Skills Level 2 in English and my ongoing Level 2 Maths qualification will meet the requirements, as well as the overall qualifications for entry into the program. I have a PC that I want to sell so I can take the funds and build a new one. I'm nervous about parting it out, I think it will take a really long time to sell. I put it up on Facebook marketplace many months ago for a few weeks, maybe for $1600 (??) thinking I would get a few lower offers but it didn't get much traction.
I've been so impressed and influenced by the Optimum builds on YouTube -- I'm sure you know the ones -- that I'd like to go SFFPC in a Formd T1 or an Ncase M2, with an AMD 7800X3D, DDR5-6000 RAM, a B650 motherboard, SF750 PSU, etc. All of these goals, unfortunately, don't leverage or use any of the parts I have already.
So I'm looking for your advice and experiences on parting this out. I can use hardwareswap, Facebook marketplace, eBay, etc., strategically depending on the weight and size of each part.
Should I just patiently post and sell the entire build "complete" on local Facebook marketplace, reducing the price by $100 until I find a buyer? I have boxes for almost 100% of the build, except the GPU.

Hey all,
I have health anxiety and was a heavy drinker until about 2.5 months ago.
I went on a health kick back in November and started going to the gym, adding supplements (on top of the Magnesium and d3 that I already took), eating healthier, etc.
About 4 weeks into not drinking my right upper quadrant started hurting quite a bit. Below ribs and also felt like my ribs were bruised. I was very worried and contacted my doctor again but he is not worried since I am not overweight and my Liver Function test was normal after a few weeks of abstinence.
I decided to try TUDCA for its supposed liver detox benefits. It arrived today and immediately after 500mg dose my pain went from a 4-5/10 to a 1/10. Could it work this quickly for liver pain? Or does this point to it being more of a gallbladder problem?
