Hey all!
After separating from my partner, I’ve noticed how few friends I have, let alone any who play games as much as I do. Been starting to feel pretty lonely lately, so I’m giving this a shot. Open to any age (20+), so long as you have a sense of humour and can understand sarcasm, which isn’t as common as I thought.
I tend to bounce around between bunch of games (League, Overwatch, CK3, Rocket League, plus a bunch of others I’m probably forgetting), so we can probably find something we can play together. I’m also big into watch partying movies/shows/esports. Been playing a bunch of Metaphor: ReFantazio and loving ittt
I’m currently living in Canada, but I’m visiting family in the UK for a few months as a mental/career reset before deciding what to do next with my life. So I’ll be awake whenever and open to meeting people from anywhere.

2025.01.30 18:21 Open-Newspaper1220 Freshwater IQ/ any hot tub start up process
Been in comments discussing this multiple times so I figured I would just make a post and hopefully help all IQ users.
THE START UP PROCESS IS VERY IMPORTANT. It is quite the process but it leads to long lasting clear and comfortable water. I recommend every single hot tub owner whether it's a bromine, chlorine, salt, or IQ system go through this process when starting up a spa but most importantly when starting up a Freshwater IQ system.
Get a water sample from the spigot you will be using to fill the spa and take it to get tested. You and your next-door neighbor could have extremely different water. What is needed to treat the water could be different so figure out what you're dealing with in YOUR water. Most importantly for the IQ you need to make sure there are not heavy metals or phosphates in the fill water and that the calcium hardness is between 25-75 ppm. 0 calcium hardness is not ideal. If you have metals, phosphates, or high hardness you can use an on the go water softener and a filter tip on the end of your garden hose (your garden hose could contaminate the water while filling so its best to put it on the end of the hose or get a new hose) Or you can use a metal removal product and a vanishing act pillow after its filled. Once metals, phosphates, and hardness are taken care of make sure to balance alkalinity and ph. After that you can shock the tub and start up your salt system. Make sure your salt system is up and running and holds a 3-5 ppm chlorine residual for ONE WHOLE WEEK before installing or turning on the IQ sensor. After the salt system is functioning as it should for a week and the water has been kept well balanced you can install or turn on the IQ sensor. Ignore the readings for 24-48 hours as it is initializing and will not read properly. If this was done correctly the system should give accurate readings leaving you to only need test strips to keep an eye on alkalinity and calcium hardness. Going forward, chemical wise, LESS IS MORE. Try to use as little chemicals as possible.
This is a dumbed down version of the start up process that Watkins recommends. Read your owners manual and best practices. Check out the IQ start up YouTube video. Make sure you understand what NOT to use even if you used it on a previous spa.
NO - Silver ion stick, MPS, oil based scent products, heavy doses of phosphate remover.
Also, if you got this system when it first launched you may need an update to the board. Your dealer should be able to do this.
p.s. RINSE YOUR FILTERS OFTEN and when all else fails purge, drain, clean, and refill

Hello everyone. i have a serious question about my home. Ok in 2020, my mom passed away and SUPPOSEDLY the house was left to my sister. Now my sister and i are not fighting over the house, she doesnt want it, and i do, so she said i could have it. Ok thats all fine, but ive never actually SEEN my moms will. Also i cannot find the deed to the house, my sister doesnt have it and i tore this house apart looking for it. Now my question is this. There is no dispute over the house, and its obviously still in my moms name. So how do i go about getting the house put in my name, taxes are all current, ive paid them every year. i just dontn know how to proceed next and is this gonna cost me alot of money? Any help would be appreciated.Thank you.
