Looking at doing a bike upgrade this year, and have found a few good candidates on marketplace.
Some details:
- The bike I am currently looking at a 2020 Scott Foil 10 in size L/56.
- The bike I am currently riding a Tarmac 2016 in size 58.
- I am 6'1"/185cm with a 34.75"/88cm inseam.
Thoughts on whether the Scott would be good for me, or should I keep searching?

Title says it all! I'm new to snowboarding and I find it really fun, and Boyce Park is so cheap and close. However, the next free day I have is Feb 22nd (it's actually the only free day I have in February) and I'm worried they're going to be closed by then. I see online they have lifts daily up til Feb 8th, but maybe they only list one week ahead at a time? TIA!

How is this podcast even real? I watched it just to hear the twins’ interview with Bridgette and Danielle, but Danielle Carolan—the host—has absolutely no personality. How is she even an influencer? Who is she influencing? She comes across as insecure and just says whatever she thinks will sound cool. And people actually pay to see them live? I genuinely can’t wrap my head around how this podcast makes money or has listeners.

I unfortunately missed my open enrollment window and lost coverage through my employer; coverage usually rolls over but this year it didn't, and HR did not inform us. Marriage or childbirth as a QLE aren't in the picture. What are my options? Is there anything I can do to re-enroll, and if not, what are my best/cheapest options to find coverage through the marketplace? Is it an option to risk going without coverage until I can enroll in the fall to be covered in 2026? I am young, extremely healthy and have no prescriptions or health problems, and it wouldn't hurt to miss one year of dental cleanings and checkups. But I'm not sure whether there is a penalty for being uninsured, and am worried about unexpected health issues or accidents. Obviously this was a serious mistake and I'll be more vigilant in the future but am not sure how to move forward for this year. Any advice/recommendations are welcome; thank you in advance.

Next session, my party is very likely to be suffering through the horror of the feast of st andral. For at least half of them, I think their priority will be saving innocent lives rather than their own lives.
Any ideas on how to do some sort of gamification of the event? Like some sort of skill challenge?
I want to avoid full on just rolling initiative and tracking like 20 different people, but if that’s the best option I will do it.

I’ve been looking for a camera grip for my iPhone 16 Pro. So frustrating! I really like the ShiftCam Pro Grip but the clamp that holds the phone bezel covers up the 16’s Camera Control button. This is otherwise a great piece of hardware. ShiftCam’s Snap Grip just didn’t have a strong enough grip on the MagSafe ring. When are companies like ShiftCam going to update their offerings for the current model of the iPhone? Do we have to wait until the iPhone is obsolete?

So I'm a member of the dsa and a soldier in the US Army. Sometimes I find other socialist to talk politics with and at some point the army thing comes up. I made that choice so that I could help with a college degree and knowledge of how some of those systems work hands on.

 | So basically, I’ve been wanting to get a kitten for years. Not just because they’re cute but also because I think that having a cat is really good for me because she gives me responsibility and helps me with my mental health. I had just gotten this adorable kitten who I love so much. She’s 4 months old. Prior to getting her I had asked my roommates multiple times if it were okay for me to get a cat. They all said they were fine with it, both times. One of them, let’s call her X, mentioned she had allergies. Despite her allergies, she still agreed with me getting a cat and didn’t voice that she had a problem with it. She did ask for me to get hypoallergenic food so I went ahead and got my cat a special hypoallergenic food. It’s been a few weeks since having my cat in our apartment and everything has been going smoothly. I keep her litter box and food and water and everything in my own room. My roommates seem to love her and play with her often. I just got a text today from X saying that she can no longer live with my cat. She says that her allergies are too bad. This really irritated me because I asked her multiple times if she was okay with me getting a cat, she said yes! Now I have a living, breathing animal that is my family and that I can’t just give up. I texted her back saying that I’m sorry that her allergies are bad and that I hope she feels better but that this is really unfair to me because what am I supposed to do now, honestly I’ll just post the messages for yall to read . With the smell thing, I literally got my cat special litter, I put baking soda in the litter because I heard it makes it smell less, I scoop it up to 4 times a day, I spray fragrances and febreeze in my room, keep my fan going, keep my air purifier going, and use a candle almost every day. I think that no matter what animal you have your place is bound to smell a little bit no matter what you do. I don’t even think it smells that bad, it only smells bad right after my cat takes a dump. I just received a pair of ODU logo trousers that I ordered and have been curious as to which variant I should be wearing or if it even matters. I haven’t been able to find anything in the manual stating which is appropriate. The ODU blouse has the same embroidered emblem as the trousers so I’d imagine it wouldn’t matter.
