This is a long shot but it's worth asking anyway. I am in the process of purchasing a home in Andover. When checking for open permits, I found a dozen open permits dating back to the 90s. I asked the seller's agent about this, and they told me that the town of Andover went through a system upgrade in 2017, which resulted in corrupted data for permits prior to that year.
The town says permits expire in 6 months, and they cannot close expired permits. The sellers say they did go through the final inspections, but have no proof and the towns records were corrupted in the move to the new system.
I checked several other properties on the market to see if they have a similar issue, and in 100% of the properties I checked, I found open permits dating back to the 90s.
Does anyone here know about this issue? FWIW, the house is in meticulous shape and the owners lived there for 35 years and clearly invested in doing things properly.

[Please be gentle, dear users of the internet, and know that this is well intentioned.]
I have been trying to think of a way to show support for Sun players and advocate for their experience with the organization as professional athletes. I thought one way may be to build a collective of fan voices and apply some social media pressure. I kind of whipped something up to that effect here on Instagram.

But… is this a bad idea that could be considered inconsiderate? Are there other avenues? Maybe there is something else already happening that allows fans to show support and share opinions?
I just feel for the athletes. I imagine Tasha Cloud is disappointed to be traded for a multitude of reasons, and I worry if she’ll even play in CT to be honest. Plus I struggle to get excited for the season knowing some of the players don’t want to be there, and they aren’t getting the same treatment as their peers. (I recognize they are treated very well compared to some other professions but let’s view this within the context of professional athletes, please).
Anyway, wanted some fellow fan thoughts. Open to constructive feedback and if there are folks who want to align, let me know.

2025.01.30 21:41 Sea-Studio-6943 Missed a train with Scotsrail because of delayed Avanti train. Will Avanti compensate me for the extra ticket I had to buy?
How do I pursue this? I went straight from Glasgow Central to Queen's street to try to catch another train, went to the ticket office and the Scotsrail people said I should go BACK to Central and talk to them there... which would make me miss the next train.
So I just bought a new ticket, which was almost double the cost of the one I'd missed due to the delay. Can I claim this back?
(already claimed for the delay, which amounted to less than the new ticket anyway)

I am currently undertaking ivf, and am shortly starting my second round after a disastrous first round + 2 years of TTC.
While I don’t subscribe to any religion, I am spiritual in that I do believe there is a universal consciousness and meaning behind many of life’s challenges. Particularly, I believe that what is meant for me won’t miss me.
For those of you that hold similar beliefs and are also struggling, how have you reconciled that you are meant to be a parent, but yet it is not particularly ‘finding you’ in that you are needing to do so much to seek it out, more than most people who become parents?

Not a flex by any means, just the longest I've been able to survive. Kill count was very low for that amount of time. I've had more kills in 2 hours of playtime. But, a lot of firsts here. All on Livonia official, solo the whole time.
Built my first stash in a tent I found kept it hidden for about a week but eventually was found and lost an VSD and Aug (Both with suppressors)
First time finding a punch card and going through the bunker (twice)
Built my first wooden crate and buried it some gear.
First time in the perma gas area (found out a full NBC suit is not necessary, just a mask and a lot of bandages.)
Spent most of my time in the south of Livonia, not camping freshies. Doesn't seem like that many people push into the south all that often.
Finally died when I got into contact and was unable to ADS for some reason. Sucks to end that way but it is what it is. Learned a lot.
