2025.01.30 21:50 hextermination Need a Bluetooth/AirPlay capable set up for a photo studio with 3 sets that want to share the same music
The scenario is this:
The photo sets want all the systems to be connected, and be able to queue up songs from a shared studio Spotify account. We're hoping to centralize this from an iPad with whatever speaker replacements we get.
We currently have a Sonos 5 on 2 of the 3 sets. The speakers are linked together via the to play the same music at the same time. This connectivity drops all of the time, however. We need to factory reset and add the systems back into the app to be able to find them and re-link them. It has been a pain in the ass. Previously, multiple people had the Sonos app on their phone and would just queue up apps... but with how buggy the app has been, they are now mostly just using the Spotify App on the studio desktops.
We're hoping to replace the sonos system, but the question is with what?
We'd like the following features:
- Bluetooth or AirPlay compatible.
- No app required (to connect to system).
- Wired plug in preferred (versus rechargeable/portable systems), that way they can just live on a shelf in the studio.
- Standalone system that does not require a receiver, or speaker wires.
- Ability to group speakers together.

POWDER: L tier it's too sweet and sour and just not fit for consumption
SMELL: has a very slight strawberry smell, like extremely light smell
APPEARANCE: at first i thought it didnt set but it just looks exactly like how it did when it was a liquid 😭😭 looks nice and jiggly tho, and if you know me you know i like it jiggling 😼
TASTE: like fake strawberry, its not that deep
TEXTURE: jello texture, but for people who dont know what that feels like, its like jelly without the chunks in the goop
FINAL SCORE: 4/10 i just dislike gelatin candy/desert

I’m wanting to go back to school and get a degree. I know it’s a difficult field to get into, but I’m currently a deputy and have gotten some interesting cases while on patrol and working as a school deputy. We’ve had a couple incidents where we’ve sent information on individuals to our intelligence unit and I’ve thought that was extremely interesting.
My agency doesn’t have profilers or anything like that, we do have an intelligence unit and crime analysts. My question is- would I even be wasting my time going back to school for a degree that would be related to criminal profiling? It’s a competitive job, I know and my semi-large agency doesn’t even have any… I’m worried I’d be wasting my time.

2025.01.30 21:50 perfectdrug659 CRA hates me and after asking for paperwork I could not provide, they have now cancelled CCTB as well, can anyone give me some guidance
CRA keeps auditing everything I do concerning them, I'm really not sure why but they seem to particularly hate me.
To the point: my kids father and I split in 2020, I have had more than 50% custody since then, but we don't have any official court ordered agreement since the split was mutual. CRA asked me for supporting documents to prove I had majority custody, but nobody (school, doctor, dentist, bus consortium) would write me a letter to help my case because we don't have an official custody agreement. CRA told me there was no recourse.
CRA also had me send in a bunch of stuff to prove my income, as I am an independent contractor and only receive cash income and I claim it as self employment income on my taxes. I did everything they asked and that's done.
Then they also requested photocopies of mail to my address, 2 per year for the last 3 years, despite my address not changing. I did this and that is also done.
But now the CCTB they say I'm not eligible for is a new issue. I don't know what to do because I can't provide the letters they've asked for.
I haven't received anything from CRA in over 2 years because they have held everything anyway while they flood me with paperwork. Will I ever get off their shitlist? Calling them again tomorrow morning but I'm feeling hopeless.

Hello, so I'm working on finding a publisher to get my (first) book published and I'm nearing the end of the negotiating period with Swan Book Publisher and I am unable to find anything on the BBB reviews page for them. I was just wondering if anyone here knew anything about them and is willing to tell me. Otherwise I'm not sure as tomorrow I will make my final choice on wither or not to go with them.
