I have a barn on my property that was badly damaged during the storms last spring. The city says I have to get rid of it. It's about the size of a single car garage. Wood framed, the sides and roof are corrugated metal. I'm also going to need all the furniture inside hauled off.
Anybody have recommendations for someone who can do it at a reasonable cost?

I'm posting here bc im unsure where to post. Other Christian groups in in don't allow these kind of posts. I was raised in church, (Pentecostal) but for the wrong reasons. I never understood why my mom was so mean to me as a kid, but we still went to church and she had leadership roles. We church hopped a lot. I didn't think much of it until I got older. She was always a lead singer or lead in music, but when people finally learned how mean she could be to them, we would move churches. We went where she could be praised long enough and keep a leadership role, then move on when she was found out. Without too much detail, my mom was verbally, mentally, and sometimes physically abusive. I've been in therapy for about 9 years working through a lot.
This year I started reading the Bible as my first ever new years resolution at the age of 32 in hooes of connecting to God more. I've always known the basic Bible stories, but went through an agnostic phase for a long while. I'm trying to work through why my mom treated me the way she did and also trust God. I don't trust anyone because of how she treated me. Even God. I hope that doesn't sound blasphemous. I mean it as I feel like I don't deserve His love and I can't understand how He could love me when my own family couldn't. I hate myself. I've become very angry and mean and hard over the past few years. I yearn for a mother to hold me and hug me and tell me that I'm loved. I struggle trusting even my own husband and he is a wonderful man.
Idk what to do. Therapy has helped tremendously, but I still feel so scared, empty, and not loveable. My anger and fear and lack of trust effects a lot in my life.
Just dumping in hopes of encouragement. Thanks.

 | Myself (28f) and partner (27m) have been together for 5 years. We have had a lot (A LOT) of issues this past year and I've been going to therapy to try to overcome a lot of these issues. Just last week he got upset with me about not communicating something with him, though I know for a fact I did. The photos are the following conversation while I was at the gym and again the following day while I was watching my niece (my job now since being fired). After this co versatile we talked on the phone for about 1.5 hours where a lot of things were said like maybe he would move back home to Indiana, maybe we shoukd break up, maybe this is the end... but as we were both at our jobs it kinda fizzled out. When I got home I wanted to talk some more but he said he was done and over it. What does this mean? I feel like we are in a jumbo and I don't know if I should continue to ask about it or not since he has already expressed he doesn't want to. Im so confused and don't really know what I should do. 2025.01.30 22:33 lunandromeda AITA for telling my flatmate he has his dad’s wallet to buy himself a new laptop?
To preface this, he has said multiple times in the past few months we’ve been living together that he’s so broke, that’s he’s going over budget, etc. to which I’ve replied with “why don’t you ask your dad for money?”
It may sound like I’m negging him but he’s in his mid-twenties, not worked a day in his life, travels to see friends multiple times a year, and basically has his dad cover all of his expenses. He isn’t truly as broke as he so frequently says, but he loves complaining about financial hardships that it’s irked me a bit because I grew up living below the poverty line for most of my life.
He came up to me the other day and asked me for some tools to fix his laptop. I was going to give him my tools, but also offered to help when I’m next available as I’m tech savvy. He ended up sending his laptop in to a tech service and said he wouldn’t mind spending around 100 to get it fixed. But then he said he’s gone way beyond his budget (due to travelling twice in the space of a month for leisure) to buy himself a decent laptop, to which I said “well, you’ve got your dad’s wallet.” He then went on to say he found that offensive and turned patronising saying “there’s ways of communicating with people” to which I responded “I don’t need you to tell me how to communicate with people. It’s just a fact that your dad financially provides for you and he would buy you a laptop as it’s essential to your studies.” It seemed he didn’t want things to escalate so he went off to his room saying “yes you’re right, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”
Now he’s got me thinking, did I take it too far by saying he’s got his dad’s wallet? He has access to his dad’s bank so essentially, he does, and isn’t afraid of going broke for real. What’s the verdict?
