2025.01.30 23:10 Alarming_Air_3832 My predictions for this mess of a show
Carter and Hope: i honestly don’t have any faith in Hope and Carters relationship because firstly, i feel like their whole “connection” was rushed. I understand why they were coupled together but i feel like they just came out of nowhere and the writers are trying to convince us that they have this strong connection and love for each. Im just not sold. Plus we all know Carter thinks with his peepee. So i think the pungent french lady will be successful in seducing Carter, but i find it hard to believe she’s just doing steffy’s bidding with no personal agenda of her own. So maybe this “takeover” won’t go as steffy planned. i’d love to maybe see Daphne play all of them and take control of FC.
Finn/Luna/Poppy: i’m pretty convinced that Finn is the pappy and as sick as that whole idea is, i am also a dedicated steffy hater so im excited to see this blow up her marriage (hopefully). I hope that this will push Finn and Hope together just to frustrate steffy further. i was honestly interested in seeing the Finn/Hope situation dragged out a little further, but they ended that ship so quickly. I kind of want to see a different side of Finn. Also, has finn forgotten he is a doctor?? run a paternity test and cut out all this back and forth with poppy.
Bill and Luna: i loathe their scenes. I feel like the writers are setting the floor for a weird romantic relationship between them to take place and i’m not here for it. I feel like Bill doesn’t fully understand how messed up Luna is. He’s completely forgetting that she tried to put the moves on him even thought it was believed that he was her father! It’s weird and strange and I can’t believe it, but i miss the old Bill. I feel like Sheila really broke this man or something.

For me...
It's that hooks and power punches have faster animations than straights and jabs. This means using a jab or straight to disrupt an incoming power or trying to score points by out-boxing your opponent doesn't work, you still get hit and to add insult to injury the animations are way too laggy and don't give enough time for you to weave or duck - is weaving even a thing in this game, seem like head movement has three set positions and lacks the fluidity of Fight Night. It's more closer to garbage like UFC.
The punch connection is awful beyond belief. When your jab flys upwards or curves to the opposite direction you directed your punch then something is fundamentally broken with the game. Like somebody else in here said, they put all their effort into footwork animations but got lazy and gave up on head movement.
You can't weave and punch like in Fight Night or move and punch - you fighter has to stop, stand up or duck down and then punch but never at the same time. It's so stiff.
Fight Night has terrible footwork but better head movement and punching. Fluid punching but moving like you're underwater.
Undisputed has the better footwork but terrible boxing. Fluid movement but punching like you're underwater.
Can't they combine the best aspects and make this game better?

feeling pretty raw after last night’s tragedy and heartbroken for the victims. i know we are all feeling worried and am not alone in this. so first i want to extend my love and support to all of you who can relate to the crippling fear.
this week ive been gearing up for a flight from LAX to JFK on Tuesday and have been a wreck. i had just discovered this sub and started to feel better and then of course this tragedy happened and immediately the good feelings disappeared.
Possible trigger: I had some intrusive thoughts this week… the thought was “if I heard of a plane crash then surely mine would crash.” i even asked a magic 8 ball and it said “most likely” lol 😵💫 I know I know… very silly and obviously insane but I can’t help but let my anxiety/ocd get the best of me. Even reminding myself of the facts doesn’t seem to help with the superstition of it all.
I need to get on this flight to watch my best friend get married but I feel so paralyzed. Would really appreciate some encouraging words 💛

 | This sounds crazy, but here me out. There's this medium of animation called "Object Shows" where they take random objects, personify them and animate them. I'm aware that the ruling of drawing living beings is debatable with the majority of scholars leaning to it being Haram. Does that ruling apply here? Objects can't come to life, nor can they grow limbs and eyes. They wouldn't really resemble humans or be an imitation to living things (because objects aren't living things). On another note, what scholarly opinion should I follow? I've always liked drawing and did it for fun. Never have I drawn with the intention of imitating the creation of Allah SWT, nor have I used my talent for the means of worshipping anything other than Allah SWT. I don’t care about insurance or anything, I’m purely talking about the mechanics of making one work. My plan is to buy a crash damaged a3 of the same year and swap over everything I need. Anyone done this before? Simply getting rid of the car and getting a stock 2l isn’t possible because I’m very attached to my car (stupid I know).

 | Every time I visit a space station, I go to the guild to increase my standing, and after this latest update, every time I roll the explorers guild the game crashes. I can open the interface well enough, but when I click on the donate button it instantly crashes with the following message. 2025.01.30 23:10 The-Traveler- I didn’t care for the cauliflower stir-fry (left). The plain riced cauliflower with frozen mixed veggies and a little sesame oil was better and just as easy.
I tried to take a little shortcut with my lunch, but the cauliflower stir-fry just missed tasty mark for me. The regular one makes a better sesame stir-fry with the 3 ingredients on the right side of pic. Maybe it’s the oil they use. I cook the plain riced cauliflower and veggies in olive oil, and then add a little sesame oil and salt at the end. I eat it for lunch or serve it with Costco chicken for a quick meal.
