I've never been given an answer as to what brought on my pcos. Prior to having my daughter I had zero ovarian problems at all. After having her, my periods completely stopped, I rapidly gained weight, rashes up my face etc then came a diagnosis after 8 months. Doctor said my angrogen levels were through the roof.
Can pregnancy cause pcos? I have no family history of pcos either.

It used to be that that the news would report what happened. There was a process.. Something of note happened. Journalists would investigate. Perhaps there’d be a press conference. They’d verify facts and ultimately publicly report what happened.
Now, they just set up a camera as things play out and spout bullshit or reminisce about similar past events however unrelated they may be. But worst of all, they speculate. They hypothesize about what might happen, which to me is the antithesis of journalism. Even as things are still unfolding, they have to “offer perspective” for us with all their pointless jabber. The goal is to fill airtime.

2025.01.30 23:10 SeaNefariousness1912 I’m struggling, a stranger just messed with my New Year’s resolution
I started the year with an awesome new job and a big pay raise (compared to my old blue-collar job). I finally felt like I could set aside some extra money for my long-awaited Asia trip!
Then last week, out of nowhere, this random b*tch totaled my car while I was making a left turn. She came out of nowhere—crossing the double line from behind in the opposite lane—and T-boned me on the driver’s side. Miraculously, I wasn’t hurt, even though the impact was directly on my side, but my car was completely wrecked.
Turns out she wasn’t licensed, wasn’t insured, and after sticking around for five minutes, she just ran off—leaving her car behind. I filed a police report and did everything I could, but I’m screwed. Since I only had liability insurance on my 15-year-old, fully paid-off car, I’m getting nothing back.
I used to rely on my car to get to work, but luckily, I don’t need it for my new job. Still, I love having a car in the city—it makes life so much more convenient, especially for spontaneous trips out of town where SEPTA doesn’t reach.
Before this, my plan was to keep driving this car until it finally died in a few years, then upgrade to something better. Now I don’t know whether to move that plan up or just suck it up and live without a car. And honestly? I can feel the difference already, and I hate it—especially when it comes to grocery shopping. It’s such a pain in the ass!
I know a lot of people say you don’t need a car in the city, and sure, that’s true. But driving around aimlessly and exploring was something I genuinely enjoyed. Now, thanks to some random idiot, that little luxury has been ripped away from me.
