Hi all,
When I first started playing games I started with my ps1. Fast forward to ps3 and some games now have trophies. I didn’t really care and played games that I enjoyed and committed time to the ones I loved. Fast forward to now and… I like to trophy hunt. But I feel like the hunt for platinums has affected my appreciation for games. I look into trophy lists before buying a game and deciding to play it. It’s not healthy I understand but what have you all done to kind of work through this? I can’t 100% my profile because so many games are impossible to platinum now and some I don’t even enjoy.
I have thought about making a new account solely for trophy hunting where I know I can get 100%. I’m not sure if that works but could be worth a short?
At the end of the day, I want to play games I enjoy but a part of me feels like I have fomo when it comes to trophies because they could be unobtainable in the future…

I always feel like there's something... that shouldn't be there, yk? But still... I can't help but want romance in a QPR. Yes, I know cupioromantic is a thing, but Idk if that's exactly the same thing I feel. I can't feel comfortable in a romantic relationship, don't know why tho. I’m at the culmination of a very lengthy search into eDiscovery tools and I have to be honest. What is going through some of these vendors minds when they’re giving demos. I’ve had the good the bad and the ugly.
On the opposite end of the spectrum what are you guys looking for in someone giving these demos? I had a wide range of conversations around different technologies that all went wildly different and I have to know how do you compare the incomparable. Just curious, if someone (me) was able to get an FE 4090 for retail, would there be any reason at all to upgrade to a 5090?
This isn't hypothetical. About 8 months ago I picked up a 4090. Of course when the 5090 was announced FOMO kicked into overdrive and I pretty much decided I was going to upgrade. However, I was able to convince myself of how completely unnecessary that would be.
I'm feeling pretty proud of myself from breaking out of the fomo mindset. Usually I'm not able to do that. Just wondering how most people would feel if they were in the same boat. I look at all the 5090s selling out and I'm like, why? Surely people aren't paying scalper prices of 4000+. That's not worth the performance boost at all...is it?

2025.01.30 23:03 Beginning_Ad5785 i lost priority, how do i get more orders?
i got my first ever 1 star review (its fine im over it atp lol) and it dropped my customer rating to 4.44, so i lost my gold status. almost nobody here does ratings for whatever reason (ive done almost 70 deliveries and have gotten 9 total ratings), so is there anything else i can do to try to get priority back? when i had it i was consistently getting good orders and making at least $40 in ~3 hours and now i struggle to make 25 in that same time frame. not only are they not giving me very high paying orders, they also aren't giving me many orders at all. obviously in order to get priority back i just need to do well and get my average rating back up but what can i do in the meantime to get more orders? i stay in hotspots as much as i can and mostly try to dash at least from 10:30 to 2:30 and/or 5:30-8:00, more if they let me (i also lost priority scheduling so its harder to come by good times).
to be frank, i need money lmao :p

Am I right to be angry? Hi, this is a question about security work but I thought it might be relevant here and was hoping for input.
Bad tactics and Incompetent partner. Me (unarmed) and a partner (armed) Were clearing out a condemned apartment complex of trespassers that were sleeping there (drug addicts,homeless and the like). This complex was condemned as I previously mentioned, so anyone and everyone besides us were not allowed to be there. We go into one apartment with 3 people in it and tell them to clear out, I tell my partner to wait with me and not open more apartments yet because we don't want more people to deal with. First as we're watching the first 3 grab their stuff to leave my partner lights a cigarette in front of them and starts smoking while we are watching them and second after a couple of minutes of getting them out he goes and starts getting more apartments open after I had told him not to. Wouldn't you guess it? He opens another apartment with an extra 3 people in it and one of them starts fighting him. So me(unarmed) and him (armed) have 6 people to watch at once that might grab a weapon or fight back granted the one that did fight back was already in cuffs but still it could have gone south in a hurry. Am I right to be angry about this?
