When I started at my hospital we were doing 1:9 a tech and 3RNs.
In February we are moving to 1:21 or 1tech:7RNs. Got a 10 cent raise and a good luck guys!
We also do patient transport and evs, which with 9 isn't...awful. With 21, you don't even do patient care anymore.

2025.01.30 23:42 dark77star Enterprise mesh Access Point non ceiling mounted deployment: better to use external or internal antennas?
I have a set of three FortiAP 431F access points that I’ve set up in a mesh. From what I’ve heard, these access points, which have internal antennas, are designed to be ceiling mounted. Unfortunately, due to the design of the house within which they are to be used, they cannot be mounted on the ceiling.
Instead, they are placed on an entertainment center, piano, and hutch, respectively, as ceiling mounting is not feasible in our house due to the angled ceilings and the height of said ceilings.
Given that above, would it be better to switch to a set of access points with external antennas instead, similar to the NETGEAR units that they are replacing? Specifically, the 433F units instead?
These 433F units with their external antennas being vertically orientated similar to the Netgear devices, might be a more effective approximation of the antenna orientation held by the Netgear devices.
For a non-ceiling mounted implementation, overall, would you recommend the internal or external antenna models of access points.

 | I was at the Unified Wine and Grape Symposium in Sacramento, and tasted a white wine made with 2024 Grüner Veltliner. I don't know the region and I forgot the name of the wine but I know what the bottle looks like. If anyone was there and knows, or anyone that might know what wine it was please drop images of it or the name so l can look it up. It had a standard cork, a front and back label, the bottom of the bottle seemed almost tapered?? That might've been my imagination though. Please help!!!
