I’ve played WoW a few different times but never really committed to actually finish leveling. I think the highest I’ve gotten was 50 or 60 in WOD. With the 20th anniversary servers open up I thought this would be a great time to finally play through and level and get to dungeons/raiding
The only issue is I’m not very good with getting together with people in game and trying to find groups. I’ve been in guilds before, but it just feels like I never find one that I fit into that I can get grouped up in.
I love the retail dungeon finder, because I can just put myself into a queue and get teleported to a dungeon with a group ready to go. I know the classic LFG is quite a bit different and for someone learning the game, I probably wouldn’t want to roll a tank or healer, so I would assume I’m not going to be very sought after.
I guess the TL;DR of it all is, if what I want to do is run dungeons to farm BIS and raid, would I be better off playing retail, or would classic still be enjoyable to me even if I think I’m going to struggle getting in a group?

Spanish in College
I am a current freshman taking a Spanish 2 (Spanish 1002) class at my university, and I’m currently struggling.
For context, I took 2 years of Spanish in high school, but I haven’t taken a Spanish class since May 2023. I had to take a placement test to get into my class. A 26-40 would place me into my class and I got a 27, so I barely made the mark.
However, I feel I’m really struggling in my class. I feel I’ve forgotten so many basic skills because I’m haven’t taken a Spanish class in 1 1/2 years. My professor speaks primarily in Spanish and I can barely understand her. I feel in general my listening skills are way below where they should be. We also have to do a lot of speaking in my class and I feel my speaking skills are way below where they should be as well, especially compared to my classmates.
A lot of my classmates have been out of Spanish for some time too, but they don’t seem to be struggling as much. For example, we had a writing assignment and most people wrote a full page but I only wrote half a page. They answer the professors questions in class. And I got last on a Kahoot.
As part of my class, we have online conversations with native speakers and other people in our class. Mine genuinely went so bad. I could hardly understand my speaker and I could hardly answer her questions because I simply didn’t know the Spanish. Meanwhile, the other people in my group were having full conversations with her.
I would drop to a lower class, but my only option would be to drop to Spanish 1001, which is the very first basic class. I don’t feel I’m up to level in my class, but I feel I know enough that I wouldn’t belong in Spanish 1001. I would go to tutoring, but I’m not really sure what I need help with. I can’t pinpoint exact issues so I’m not sure how much tutoring would help.
I want to learn Spanish, but I’m worried my grade won’t be good if I stay in this class. I’m considering just dropping the class completely. Does anyone have any advice?

I am really sorry but the backstory is quite long so it will be a bit time consuming reading this.
My family and I moved to the UK from HK a few years ago via the BNO visa. I am doing my A levels this year and is applying to unis(Sept 2025 entry), I wanted to do medicine however UCAT did not went well so I ended up applying for biomedicine in the UK and medicine in HK.
I’ve got conditional offers from both UK(biomed) and HK(med) and don’t know whether I should stay in the UK or return and study in HK. Below are the factors that I am concerned about.
Studying in HK Pros 1. fees are cheap 2. I could do medicine Cons 1. I might have to give up my ILR or even my BNO visa (ideally I would be getting ILR in 2026). 2. My family is in the UK, I will have to apply for accommodation in that uni plus leaving my parents in the UK 3. Potentially being required to go to the mainland for shadowing(?) 4. I am also a bit concerned about HK medical school’s international recognition as I am not entirely sure will I be working in HK or leaving after being certified 5. I do target rifle as a hobby, HK doesn’t allow live ammunition 6. Political concerns
Studying in UK Pros 1. I am with my parents 2. I could do shooting and it’s something that I really enjoy 3. Could get ILR, wouldn’t have to be worried about not being able to come back and live with my parents 4. Potentially getting into a more prestige uni (international recognition) Cons 1. Have to do biomedicine, not that I hate it but personally I would prefer medicine more. 2. Fees are expensive, however my parents claimed that they will cover it but it’s still a factor 3. TransfeGEM is extremely hard 4. Even though I got into medicine by transfeGEM, I will have to study for a long period of time which apart from time consuming it’s also very financially consuming 5. Biomed on the other hand is also sort of hard, you will have to have a phd for getting into higher positions
Some people might suggest taking a gap year and reapply, this wouldn’t be one of my options and there are a few reasons 1. I am supposed to be an year above(I was supposed to join year 11 according to my age when I moved here, however due to GCSE coursework I joined year 10 instead) 2. What if I flopped UCAT again, it seems risky for me to take a gap year considering that 3. I don’t think I will actually have done things enough in my gap year to make my application better

Rotary encoders... we don't see eye to eye. I've had two of them go bad on brand new cars. They were replaced under warranty, but I've grown a bit gun-shy. I do not tear things up. I am gentle. And yet, here we are.
So, how do I avoid tearing up the "FUNC" rotary encoder on my FT-710? Changing power between what I use for digital (25W) and what I use for SSB (100W) is particularly problematic for me. Do I really have to click through 75 positions on the rotary encoder each time?
If there's not a good answer to this, I might just learn how to swap these things out and start a small business around it.

Apologies for being a total noob but I really need some help. I received a 1986 fleer Jordan rookie card as a gift from my step dad. I'd like to sell it as I need some money to put away with my first child on the way. I've reviewed as much as I can online about the best way to sell it, but the options are kind of overwhelming.
It's been in a screw top case for decades, so it's in really good shape. It doesn't seem to be perfectly centered so I don't think I'm looking at a 10, but the corners are perfect so I'm hoping it might be a 9. I'm wondering if you all could give me advice about which grading package I should buy from PSA, which shipper and insurance rate to choose (so hard knowing without knowing the value of the card first), and whether putting it in PSA's vault and having them sell on ebay is a good move.

I can’t fit the larger skimmer into the first bevel of the sump, and can only realistically fit it in the middle where my refugium is. I know it’s not advised to run a skimmer in there, so does anyone know if I would be able to put the pump Into the first bevel, and use an extra hose to pump water into it? So while I have had the classical symptoms of burning, pins&needels and sensitive skin on my legs. At specific areas I feel pressure, its kind of hard to describe but the feeling can be very intense e.g., on my left foot. I feel it less by activating the larger fibers by touching it, but the feeling for me is very unpleasant. I also have it on other places, and its the biggest symptom for me that I have from SFN.
I asked one of the AI Chats, and it told me that:
"While SFN primarily affects Aδ and C fibers, there may also be some involvement of large-diameter nerve fibers (e.g., Aβ fibers), which are responsible for transmitting touch, vibration, and pressure sensations.
If these larger fibers are also affected (even minimally), you might experience abnormal pressure sensations instead of or in addition to burning.".
Anyone else feeling these symptoms?
