I had doctor's appointment today to discuss a few issues. I asked him for an opinion on a goal weight. I had been targeting 160 since it was 1/2 of my highest weight, and in the "normal" BMI range.
He surprised me by thinking I only needed to lose around 15 more pounds. Part of this is to not be discouraged if I didn't lose more.
I think he is also basing it on my general body.
That is about 10 pounds over my lowest documented adult weight from 20 years ago.
I'll see how I feel when I get to that, especially if I'm still losing. I have next appointment in about 8 weeks. Maybe I'll be down to that then.
He DID want me to start some core exercises, probably at a gym. This is also to help me with some back issues that better core strength will help.
So he apparently doesn't think I need to get to a "normal" BMI. That BMI would be about 27.5. But if you research this forum there are other BMI type numbers that this 180-185 fits in a healthy range.
And in a piece of trivia, he only has 1 other patient that has lost more weight than me. But that patient lost over 155 pounds, which would put me under 160 pounds.

The title is what I kind of did, and I feel extremely remorseful for it. I am cat-sitting for my boyfriend and brought his cat (2 yo) to my apartment a few weeks prior. Amidst the chaos of unpacking and reorganizing my stuff, I thought, in my "sane" mind, it would be a good idea to introduce her to the resident cat (a year younger) right off the bat. Rightfully so, she backed away under my bed and hissed at her whenever the resident cat got too close to her. I have had them separated since then but recently decided to put their food bowls next to each other so they can get familiarized with each other's scents. Since my bf's cat has acclimated to my room, I have been supervising playing times between them both and notice the resident cat always initiates the playing (swatting, chasing, etc.). My cat responds well to the swatting, no puffed-up tail or hissing, but gets extremely stressed, hisses, and does that throating growl (that I assume is aggressive). I feel extremely guilty for making my cat feel stressed and scared whenever the resident cat is around now and really want to fix things, but I royally screwed things over the first night. How can I undo some of the damage I have done?

Soaked this bb in water for 24 hours, then once it popped, placed it in a ziplock w/ a paper towel for 2 days (unintentionally left it in there for that long)
