2025.01.31 00:50 djocelote 2a screen cracked for seemingly no reason?
Bought my first nothing phone (2a) last night and set it up before bed. At no point during this process did I drop it. This morning I wake up and see there's a 2-3cm hairline crack going inwards on the right side just above the power button. What could have caused this?
The only places the phone has been was 1) in the box, until I opened it 2) on my bed and then 3) onto my desk overnight.
There's nothing sharp or abrasive on my desk where the phone was. I don't think it was there when I was setting my phone up last night as I feel like I would have at least felt the crack when using it. The temperature this morning before I woke up was only 30 degrees (86 Fahrenheit) so not enough to crack it from heat, but my room gets relatively humid - could that affect it?
Just confused as I don't know what could have caused this and I bought through a brick and mortar retailer so I don't have order number to go through Nothing support with.

I'm a 23 year old woman looking to find my way in the industry. I 100% understand that becoming a chef, especially a personal chef, is not to be taken lightly. I know that it's difficult and grueling to climb the ranks. I just want to know if any of you (experienced chefs, beginner cooks, self taught cooks, etc) have any experience making the transition from being a home chef to becoming a professional. I've been cooking since I was 7, I do not have formal training but I absolutely have the heart to pursue it. I know that cooking is something I want to do for the rest of my life, but I'm not sure if restaurant work is for me.
I appreciate any information you would be so kind as to share with me, and I apologize if I seem at all entitled.

2025.01.31 00:50 Foreign-Ad-6724 How do you survive Rebirth Resurgence?
I used to play rebirth a lot a few years back and I was fairly decent. Nowadays I mainly kick multiplayer and I'd say I'm pretty good at it too, but rebirth now? It's as if all the opponents know something I don't. I literally cannot survive for long at all. I typically get 30th place with at BEST one kill. I just don't get what I'm doing wrong, I have the aim, I have the movement, but no matter where I land someone immediately will spot me and laser me down immediately, doesn't matter what I do. It's as if my gun shoots marshmellows meanwhile theirs shoots just instant death. I want to enjoy this mode and I want to learn how to play it, but just playing it doesn't help at all. I land, I die, I respawn and immediately get shot from somewhere, not even 10 seconds in, even if I land onto the least populated part of the map. What do I do? I'm tired of constantly dying and leaving the match with absolutely zero kills.

I’m a DSG in the Air National Guard, and on my first day of scheduled drill, the vehicle dealership that I work for took some of my client leads that I had been working on before my Drill period started and re-assigned them to other salesmen, even though I had already been in contact with the clients to start building the relationship, and the clients were all interested in buying a vehicle AFTER I would be back from drill. Do I have any protection or claims to these sales still under USERRA or am I just SOL and have crappy management?
