I’m currently using xscheduler’s MIDI events to control my lights with an electric drum set and it’s working perfectly, but there are a lot of moments where the drummer has to hit multiple notes at once. Is there a way to play multiple playlist steps at once without one overriding the other?

Hello everyone! I just had my follow up appointment with my oncologist and he said since my final pathology report came back as Grade 1 Stage 1A that I am now eligible to be on HRT. I’m only 28, and I’ve been having night sweats, insomnia and joint pain since they took my ovaries. However I’m very wary of starting HRT, when I was grade 2 on my first pathology report he said my cancer grade was too high and he didn’t recommend HRT and I would be ineligible. I reminded him of this and he said since I’m cancer free and I’m in observation and my cancer grade was so low he recommends it for me. He said “we’re doctors, we don’t want to give you cancer we want to get rid of it, don’t worry”. Do any of yall have experience with HRT after cancer? Please help ❤️

As a HUGE fan of the original, someone PLEASE explain the appeal of the remake? Not only did the original break ground (there were NOT movies coming out like that in 1972), it has amazing characters, intensely disturbing violence, high tragedy and it is ultimately a great time capsule / period piece. I could have done without the police-related comedy relief, but I see why it is there (even if I DON'T like it, I can always appreciate a subtle commentary on the ineffectiveness / incompetence of the pigs!), but that notwithstanding, I found the remake to be exceedingly mediocre and ultimately unnecessary, but there seems to be people who swear by it... Is it just because it was understated and 2000's "cool" without the vulnerability and extremity that comes off as "camp" to some? Someone help me out. I fear it might be a generational thing...

Hey, I tried to run LoreRim today and came across a lot of performance issues despite downscaling using vramr lossless Scaling and many other solutions and I just wasn't happy with the experience in the end. Now the few hours I actually played I rlly enjoyed the combat, the lively npcs in the world the hardcore survival kind of feeling and it was just a great experience in this scenario. Now I already knew before installing that I won't be able to run it at 60 fps but I still wanted to try it since it's such a famous modpack.
Now I wanted to ask if there's a similar modpack that doesn't require a super insane pc that creates a similar experience to LoreRim. (Nice graphic, Lively world, lots of quests that's also difficult to play)
My specs are: 6600xt 8gb vram gpu i5 12600k cpu 16gb ram SATA SSD
I just want to have a great role-playing experience with lots of custom quests and maybe buildings etc and a new experience in general since I've played the normal skyrim waaaaaaaay to much. I apologize in case this gets asked a lot and appreciate every single answer. Ty for your time!

2025.01.31 01:20 Silver_Ad_18 Roleplay changed its rules—now everyone can BS their character sheets, and it’s killing my motivation
I've been part of an RP forum for years, and it's been great—grinding RPs to earn points, unlocking better skills to spend on abilities, and steadily progressing. But recently, a new rule was introduced that lets players add anything to their character sheets without oversight until the very end of roleplay. Used to be before it was required everytime you added something that you needed staff. Until then, everything is automatically approved. The reasoning behind this is that "everyone trusts each other," and "no one will abuse the system because you can't."
The problem is, all it takes is one person exploiting this to ruin an RP—creating overpowered skills & abilities on the fly to counteract the DM or manipulate the story in their favor. Despite this obvious flaw, most members don’t seem to care, and the mods claim they "don’t have enough staff to check everything," even though they managed just fine before. Now, people can essentially write whatever they want on their sheets without consequence. Nowhere but that one rp setting I've seen allow users to do such a thing. I don't even trust my friends on this level they are trusting people on. This is a public RP mind you, not a friend group, a completely public RP.
On top of that, most RPs are so focused on mechanics and combat systems that have collaborative storytelling has taken a backseat. Everyone prioritizes the system over the narrative, and it’s frustrating. I just wanted to write a good story, but the emphasis on mechanics and the lack of oversight is making it demotivating.

I've been using Visible for a few weeks now and I have been noticing it's been catching low spoon/pain days in the morning before I even get to that point. However since I can't afford the £90 to get the subscription and £15 a month after that, I'm just wondering if there are any apps like it that can let you know to pace yourself before a crash hits that can hook up to other fitness trackers? I have a Fitbit already that's been gathering dust and friends with Samsung tracker are looking for the same thing. Is there anything like that out there? I admit it.. I can go through the whole emotional spectrum within an hour. I unintentionally and sometimes intentionally just for lulz cause massive shitstorms in life and then panic as I attempt a hectic rebuild.
I have quit a job because I had some random 2-3 long role-playing daydream in my head about these other things I was going to do in the world and when I left I just drove to the store got some donuts watched a movie stoned fell asleep and then went to a concert that night then the casino.
I can debate and be intellectual but if you ask me to do basic mundane responsible adult things, it is very much a struggle. I'm just winging shit. And guess what? As geminis, we really don't give a flying fuck anyway. Life is a game, a play, a theater.
