HI
So , I"m not much into battery powered tools ,never have been . my wife , years ago brought a Stanley fatmax 3in1 combo as a present and then i brought a grinder which i didn't like and didn't last long (not brushless). now these other tools haven't seen a hell of a lot of use , i have 4 batteries 2 small 2 larger types and were brought back 10+ years ago . they are just now starting die , 1 won't charge after some time on the charger and the others don't last that long .
now ,I need to buy a wipper snipebrush cuter and as i can't find a good 4stroke type ,i was looking at battery power options . i did notice there is a Fatmax type but the battery packs seemed to have changed in appearance . my Question is has the way these battery's lock into the tool changed in the last ten years or is it completely new . 2 can i use the old charger with new battery's ,if i go that way ... not really looking at having 3-4 or 5 different battery powered tools around the shed....

Hey just a question of curiosity with regards of having two tamper valves being wire under one tamper valve supervisor signal is this allowed and if not is there a ULC S524 reference to this or Canadian fire code reference. As i feel this is not correct and would like reference to back my answer to someone else incorrect install. As i traditional installed one tamper valve supervisor signal per tamper valve. In this case of the example it would be PRV bypass 1 tamper valve 1 and PRV bypass 1 tamper valve 2 for the physical tampers valves.

After 13 years of it, I consider myself ex-poly because if I have to date one more person who goes on about being able to love unlimited people equally but is really just an avoidant, I will blow my head off. I still think it's a good idea in theory, I just have no interest in entering into another relationship yet still not being able to escape the grind of dating apps. I want one person who actually wants to meet my needs.
...However, if that person ended up having a drunk one-nighter with some other guy, I don't think it would be the end of the world as long as they were honest about it? The lying and hiding aspect of affairs bothers me way more. I have no intention of running around on whoever I date next, but the convention of blowing up the entire relationship no matter how long and involved over a fling seems a bit absolutist for my taste. Sex isn't love, and I'm well aware of how you can be wildly attracted to someone you know isn't relationship material.
Is there any kind of name or precedent for that? I'm assuming it wouldn't be popular in this sub in particular, and that some might assume I'm setting myself up to be used.
