I lost everything due to OCD, took everything from me, my self confidence ,my childhood friends, my network of people, my dream but it does get easier somewhere down the line you will find a solution, I remember when i locked myself in my home for 2 weeks becouse i was afraid of committing a sin, but I stood up, what happened was I acknowledged I have a problem the most people wont even think of, I acknowledged that telling people about my condition isnt gonna do any good most people say i have ocd without knowing how difficult it is, now i am all alone in a world destroyed by the battle of me and my inner monster, I have to bear the weight of rebuilding it, thats the final challenge i guess, but life is full of mysteries, what i did to reach this point is simple just dont ever do a compulsion even if it was little, if you want to kill something starve it, where energy flows life grows, OCD’s fuel is compulsions it gets fed it gets bigger, i used to do little compulsions like saying a word or something, I stopped that and i had severe religious OCD so no one tell me he or she is suffering from a much worse condition OCD is the same for all of us, my point is STARVE IT! Do the work rebuild avoid reassurance or certainty, there’s no better time to start than now, i wish you all the best i feel close to you than any human in earth becouse we have something that no other person could ever understand, hope for you always the best.

Ik out of all the immoral characters in the show disliking Donna might seem weird but I personally find all the other characters and storylines way more enjoyable.

I have this hand-made silk tapestry from Thailand that I would live to hang.
Anyone out there with experience on hanging decorative pieces that don't have rigidity? It's about 75x120cm and weighs around 1.5kg.
I previously sewed little tabs on the back I could fit a wooden dowel through and then hang on some curtain hooks, but the weigh caused some obvious draping.

Our Carrier Infinity Touch thermostat (SYSTXCCITC01-A, Version 11, ~10 years old) is showing a humidity reading higher than reality. It's reading 59% when an Accurite guage in the same room is reading 28%.
Just for some other points of reference: the air feels very dry, it's cold outside (Northeast US), and the cats spark when I pet them. So I'm inclined to believe the 28% over the 59%!
Until today I completely ignored the humidity reading, but I just installed an Aprilaire humidifier and I'm bummed that the Carrier isn't turning it on because the thermostat's perception of the humidity is way high. I tried the "check" feature to turn on the humidifier manually and it does indeed run, so that's all good.
Based on other advice, I plugged the hole behind the thermostat with plumbers' putty. It didn't have any effect.
I also took the unit off the wall, took off the cover, and blew on the humidity sensor. Maybe it got dusty? I dunno. No effect.
I found the part number for this sensor, a Sensirion SHT11, thinking I could try soldering in a new one. But they're discontinued, and knockoffs from Aliexpress or eBay will take a while to get here.
Is there anything else I can try before having to replace the whole thermostat? Maybe I should just rewire the humidifier to run on its own?

I could be wrong on some story items as I was a VERY heavily(read as overly) medicated child of maybe 8 at the oldest. The layout was unique and was intended to be supervised experience with a player who would read aloud and attempt to get through the storyline and supervisor who was NOT to help with the puzzles only with the reading and to check the solutions before progressing the pages. You played the part of a young male and started with a list of items in your pockets, things like string, a fishhook, half a pair of scissors and some fuzz? You had slipped away from your babysitting Aunt to explore? And found yourself at an ivy overgrown brick wall to an estate with a locked iron gate. Somehow using what you had in your pockets and the detailed artwork you had to figure out how to get past the wall and to the next page. The whole book was this way. And the solutions were waaaay the F out there if I recall correctly. There were oddly emo/goth influences to the page dominating artwork. Anyone got me on this one?
