2025.01.31 02:30 zion28 FedEx "Delivered" My Returned MacBook, But I Never Got It – What Can I Do?
I recently sold a brand-new MacBook Pro on eBay. The buyer claimed it was damaged and sent it back. FedEx says they delivered the return to my building, but my building never received any package.
The way my building handles deliveries makes it unlikely that it was stolen—packages go through a package room that even residents can't access. The proof of delivery from FedEx is just a close-up of someone’s shirt (which is obviously not helpful).
I filed a claim with eBay, but they told me I have to go after the carrier. FedEx denied my claim, saying I need written authorization from the original shipper (the buyer in this case) waiving their right to pursue a claim. Given that this was an eBay transaction, I doubt the buyer will cooperate.
Has anyone dealt with something like this before? Any advice on how to move forward?

So I have an ammeter installed measuring the power wire to my 4ch and mono amplifiers in my truck. I have an upgraded alternator that is 300amps and runs a steady 14.3-15v. I was just listening to avenged sevenfold and at 14.7v I was pulling a constant 40amps. I feel like it should be louder or does that sound ok for a 4x100w rms amp and a 800w rms?

2025.01.31 02:30 BBBBKKKK I have an X-Air 16 (4U) in a double-sided 6U rack case. What else should I put in it?
I mostly do bar sound and other small gigs with the XR16. It's been nice to just throw the router box in there and have an easy setup but I'm definitely wasting space.
I'm inclined to get something smaller and more suitable for the job since I already have a tech bag and a mic case, but I got this one (Gator GRR-6L) for $50 and anything I change to would easily cost more than that, so I don't see the point in swapping at this time.
I should probably build out the case to hold everything I'd need for said small gigs instead of bringing a whole other bag but want to get others' thoughts.

I cannot create a recurring transfer; neither on the website nor the app.
On the website, when I navigate to Account & Trade -> Transfer -> Manage recurring transfers -> Create new activity -> Transfer, it displays a page that allows me to set up a one-time transfer, and that page has a link that says "manage recurring transfers," which just brings me back to the manage recurring transfers page again, so it's an endless loop.
When I try to create a transfer in the app, there's a field that says "Frequency: Just once," but that field is not editable.
I want to schedule a monthly ETF to an external account.

Feeling more emotionally distant from my partner lately because they constantly want to see me when I have a lot going on outside of the relationship. I do not have the mental capacity or time to see them every day and I need to be independent and have my own life to be successful with another person. I’ve brought this up to them and they realize it’s a problem.. I don’t know how much time I’m willing to give them because I’ve set up my boundaries and expressed my needs, but I don’t think they’re feeling secure within themselves. I don’t want to be selfish but it’s a bit suffocating and I need my space to recharge from all of my stress. Do I stay and try to let them grow or do you think it’s impossible for the other person to change this anxious attachment style?

I also know of SIMPLIS, which offers fast simulations and transfer function extraction.
Is there a standard or widely used software in industry for modeling and designing converters? If not, what kind of workflow is usually the case at your companies?

So been thinking about doing this with my extra free time, and from everything i've read, seems it can be hit or miss. Is there any preferred sites for auctions? I'm smaller town south of Ft Worth, and seems theres lots of sites with lots of bigger cities. Anything to watch out for? Not sure what red flags would be in this kind of field, embarrassed to say, but the extent of storage auction knowledge I've seen is Storage Wars lol I know its not like that online, but what can I expect and what should I be weary of?.
