F(27) dated M(30) on and off for 5 years. We have had infidelity issues on both sides. I was 22 at the time and was unsure what I wanted. That lead to trust issues and him stepping out as well. Last year I got pregnant and soon after finding out he moved in with me. We weren’t on great terms, but decided to proceed. We never had worked on our trust but said we would. I recently found out he was talking to other females for the last 6 months. That dates back to the beginning on my pregnancy, the loss of the baby, and the months to follow where we were still trying. He said he didn’t trust me, asked if we could have each other passwords and at that time I said I was willing but didn’t. The problem I have is, even before that request, the messages with other females dated back before that conversation and continued. I found out last week and kicked him out because I felt disgusted. I am finally at a place to at least have a discussion but is it worth it?

Two days ago I purchased a washing machine drain pipe from a store next to my place for 210 rs. I took it home, installed it a and after a while it leaked and my hall was filled with water. After inspection I found out that the pipe was damaged. I took it back and told the shopkeeper that they gave me a damaged pipe and asked for a replacement but they didn't have one so they gave me a shorter pipe and asked me to see if it fits. If it doesn't bring it back and we'll get you an new one tomorrow. Just don't unpack it. This is at 9:30 or 9 pm. The next they I went there said that it's short and I won't be able to use it and I asked for the longer one. But they didn't have it. So I asked for a refund for which they declined. They said that they can't refund and I have to buy something else from the shop. I don't need anything else. And the owner took my number and told me they will send it back . This happened yesterday night.
They haven't sent the amount till now and are refusing to answer my calls and texts.
What can I do?

Im a 9th grader (14) and am taking 3 AP’s, thing is im really behind on them and have so much trouble focusing. I instantaneously get bored and start getting sidetracked and cant do my work, right now as im writing this I should be working. I just need something in order for me to focus and catch up on the boatloads of work I have. Its a constant game of me trying to do my work, procrastinating saying I’ll do it the next day, next day comes, and then I do the same exact thing.

I went from not being able to afford to buy necessities like toilet paper, toothpaste and period products to now having a small stockpile of stuff I can use or donate.
I'm making this post as a community resource, but know it won't help you immediately but since needing period products is usually a monthly thing we can plan for, you can start learning about couponing now

I get it -- things are tense and a lot of people are angry and taking it out on reddit. But, there's a lot of subs for that. imo this should not be one of them.
Local politics, local policy debates, zoning, street sweeping, health inspectors, bring it on! Get mad at street sweeping and trash pickup. Learn about nonprofits, things you can do to help your neighbors, etc.
Maybe I'm off base here -- in which case happy to leave the sub, but this stuff is what ruined the old facebook groups, and I'm hoping we can look past macro-political differences and keep this sub focused on local community building, not just another place on the internet to vent about the state of the world.

After a successful Boundary waters expedition a couple of years ago, our troop is looking to create our own high adventure trip again. Looking for suggestions for places to go for a week-long trek. This is for older boys (14+) and should have a fair amount of adventure and physical activity.
Some ideas we've brainstormed:
- A few days backpacking the AT in the Smoky Mountains, paired with a day of whitewater and a zipline
- A trip out to Colorado to hike some mountain trails, do some mountain biking, whitewater, alpine slides, etc.
- A week-long float down scenic waterways in West Virginia or Arkansas
Other info: - We're based in the Midwest, and would prefer to drive a few vans to keep costs down, but could be open to flying if the adventure was worth it.
- To be clear, we think the official bases are great, but we try to alternate Philmont/Sea Base/etc with these trips, where we can keep costs down and make it available to everyone.
